bjocas
Hello. Maybe someone here can help me. About 6 years ago I did 2 FUSS surgeries with Alvi Armani. I went all the way to Canada. After 2 years I did FUE in UK. Now I ended up with a scar..... and my hair is thin and with bald patches. I started using Regaine this month as I lost hope about 2 years ago and did not use anything. Does someone know how I can get in touch with Alvi Armani? I have tried for ages and I always get through his agents. I want to tell him that it did not work and maybe he can help me. But his agents always say that he is busy! Can someone tell me of what I can do please? I am 29 years of age and I really want to have hair. I am even thinking of buying a hairpiece but I think I am too young for that. I am shy to use a hairpiece.
Regular Member Stingray Posted May 24, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted May 24, 2011 I am sorry to hear the story of another unhappy Armani patient. My advice to you is to cut your losses with Dr Armani and to consult with other more competent doctors. Do you live in the UK? My doc Dr Bisanga of BHR is excellent and is well worth consulting. He is based in Brussels. He will be able to tell you what your options are at this point and regularly does consults in London. There are a few other good docs in Brussels that are worth checking out too. ----------------------------------------- 2425 FUE - Dr Armani - Nov 2007 (poor result) 1000 FUE Procedure with Dr. Bisanga - March 25th 2010 (great result) 1599 FUE Procedure with Dr. Bisanga - Feb 3rd 2011 My Hair Loss Website
bjocas
The problem is that I do not think I have much donor hair left after three procedures. The donor hair left would not cover the remaining baldness. To make things worse because of the FUSS scar I cannot shave my hair with zero. By the way I live in Malta. Anybody know what is best at this point? And does the hair tattoo cost alot, should this be the remaining option?
bjocas
I just looked at the prices of Dr. Bisanga. I definitely do not have 9,500 euro.
Regular Member Stingray Posted May 25, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted May 25, 2011 Email some picture of your hair to a number of top docs both strip and fue and get some feedback and different opinions. Nobody can advise you on your options without seeing your hair. Senior Member HARIRI Posted May 25, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 25, 2011 I agree with Stingray. Dr. Bisanga is outstanding, I witnessed his work lately. IMO I think he is the only super quality surgeon in Europe and the rest located in North America. He is definitely my Euro choice. Bjocas, If you ask Dr. Bisanga for a strip surgery his price will be much less than 9500 Euro. Ask him for the FUT rate if you would like to have a cheaper surgery. bjocas
Any ideas from where I can buy Regaine or Rogaine (foam) from internet? To be delivered to EU
Senior Member Thehairupthere Posted May 26, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 26, 2011 Try rogaine.com I'm not sure if they deliver internationally. I am a consultant for Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. These opinions are my own. Dr. Robert True and Dr. Robert Dorin are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians

Senior Member Dutch Posted June 20, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 20, 2011 Thought Armani is now retired? Bisanga, Feriduni, Devroye, Farjo, Keser are your options in Europe. http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2329
Senior Member MusoInOz Posted June 20, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 20, 2011 Hey Mate, If Euro is your only real travel option I would also recommend Bisanga. However I would research other Surgeons whom specialise in repair work more so. Don't let travel be your hurdle. Mike. PS: I too was under the impression Dr Armani had retired?
