Senior Member Dr. Carlos Wesley Posted May 17, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 17, 2011 (edited) This 36-year-old male had 2746 FU transplanted in a pattern addressing thinning in his frontal third. The after images were taken approximately 2 years later. One reveals the look of the transplanted grafts up close and another a close-up of the scar after a trichophytic closure. Additional images show the "combed back" hairline after the session. Edited July 6, 2011 by Carlos K. Wesley, M.D. Addition of "combed back" images (as per request) Dr. Carlos Wesley is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted May 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 18, 2011 Very nice improvement for this patient. The donor scar is as refined as they come. Senior Member Dutch Posted May 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 18, 2011 Very nice considering the relatively small amount of grafts used for the area. Scar very well hidden http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2329
Senior Member Shadow of the EMpire State Posted May 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 18, 2011 First, where's the combed-back hairline shot? Second, it appears to be mediocre coverage for for the number of grafts used. I'd expect better coverage from 2746 grafts on a NW 3 with olive skin. Senior Member Billena Posted March 10, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted March 10, 2017 Dutch, David and RC West Thank you for your positive comments. This patient's scar is really hard to detect-which made him really happy! --------- Carlos K. Wesley, M.D. is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians.
