Senior Member hairthere Posted April 5, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted April 5, 2011 Totally normal. The redness will soon turn pinkish and this can last se eral months. It will evetually fade. JoeKid0000
Everyone is different. Eventually the redness will disappear but it will take time. No cause for concern!
Senior Member corvettester Posted April 6, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted April 6, 2011 It usually last longer, or appears to last longer, for fair skinned people. I have very fair skin. My recipient area was red for at least 3 months! Of course, it gradually dissipated. My doctor warned me from teh ebginning that it may last up to 6 months for a guy like me. Fortunately, I wear my hair forward so it covered the redness up well.
