Senior Member Cant decide Posted March 25, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 25, 2011 I have brought up this topic before. I am always amazed at how many sports figures, actors, politicians, etc get HT from big chains or from plastic surgeons whose majority of time is not spent on HT and it is not their specialty. I mean it does not take much research to determine who are the best in the industry and why in the world would you not go to them? This is your appearance and something that is not reversible. How can they just be so lazy about where they get surgery done??? I will forever be perplexed by this..... Senior Member gmonasco Posted March 26, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 26, 2011 A lot of people simply don't realize that there is a big difference between practitioners and that research is warranted. Being famous doesn't necessarily make one smarter or more knowledgeable.
Senior Member HARIRI Posted March 26, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 26, 2011 Famous people always go for the most expensive, They think if it has expensive rates and super good looking clinic interior design with nice marketing then its the BEST. Thats why you will notice that majority of them goes to ARMANI. Thats why great clinics like H&W, Rahal, SMG...etc. They need more marketing to reach the famous level to save many people and celebs from getting butchered. I pray everyday from HT Network, cause without this forum i would be lost with another marketing guru HT surgeon. The thing is, other than Armani, are there really any HT surgeons with a high profile that a celeb would be drawn to? I mean other than the obvious chains such as Bosley. I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. Senior Member Dutch Posted March 26, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 26, 2011 They don't do research & as per the above, they choose whoever charges the highest, like Armani. Gordon Ramsey went to Armani very recently http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2329
Senior Member lorenzo Posted March 27, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 27, 2011 (edited) Famous people always go for the most expensive, They think if it has expensive rates and super good looking clinic interior design with nice marketing then its the BEST. Thats why you will notice that majority of them goes to ARMANI. Incorrect in my opinion. Famous people dont want doctors advertising they have recieved surgery. Maybe A is better at convincing them to. Dr. Hasson and Dr. Wong in my experiences have always treated patients the same whether they are famous or not. I know they have been alot of famous patients that have recieved surgery at H&W. There is a confidentiality involving patients. Many famous people dont want it to be known that they have recieved a hair transplant. I have personally assisted many famous italians (actors, soccer players, and politicians). Senior Member Tonycc Posted March 28, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 28, 2011 That is a good question. you figure people with tons of money and access to almost anywhere in the world would get the best of the best. But anyone can go to a butcher... it's happened to both people on the forum and celebs alike.
