Steven Gabel, MD, FACS
Ken is now 1 month following his hair transplant. He had 2569 grafts placed into the frontal aspect of his scalp and hairline. He has been coming to the office for photos and video. He wants to show his monthly progress so patients can follow his experience. He stated that he will come start posting on the forums hopefully soon. Senior Member Sean Posted February 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 23, 2011 This is awesome. A monthly progress report to see the results. The area where the strip was taken was ideal. It flows with the shape of his head in the back. Can't wait to see these results.
Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted February 23, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted February 23, 2011 I agree. Great case and format. He should look significantly different by Labor Day. Senior Member Shadow of the EMpire State Posted February 24, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 24, 2011 This video is funny. First, he begins by saying, "The redness has gone away" when it obviously hasn't. Then he says that there's "a 'little' scar in the back," which he then reveals to be the width of his head. Regular Member Ken1967 Posted February 28, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted February 28, 2011 Wow. What a trip seeing this video. I sure looked a whole lot different back then. What I can say is that the decision was easy when I did the consult, The surgery went without a hitch, and the results were way more than I could have imagined. I do believe that this is all because of the physician and staff. My advise Choose wisely or choose my physician. I have read some horror stories out there. You can cheap out on a suite, dinner, and a date, But don't cheap out on a proceedure like this. :-) Oh and before it is said......I am NOT being paid for this post, I do not usually put in my "two cents" but this experience was definately worth sharing. So Thank You Dr. Gabel and your extrodinary, personable, and professional Staff.
Steven Gabel, MD, FACS
Ken - thanks for sharing your experience. We are all looking forward to watching your progress. Thank you all for your positive comments. I do feel this will be great for future patients to see the progress one patient has as he goes through this journey. During the consultations with my patients, I discuss the postoperative course; but seeing it with photos and with video is much more instructive then any words I can describe. Looking forward to posting the 2 month results.
