Rabbit3
I am new to this treatment and need advice as to how to begin, how to select the best surgeon and exactly what does this treatment do, risks, life-long care, etc. I have spent some time looking at different options and came across this website over the holidays. Now I want to get serious, do my research. Any suggestions? I am open to going where I need to and would like to possibly interview either by phone direct meetings with the doctors. My only criteria is to actually meet with the doctor and see what the doctor is all about....Any thoughts?
Senior Member aaron1234 Posted February 20, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 20, 2011 Well, you are here on the forums and you are open to going anywhere - this is a good start. Spend a lot of time on here studying the patient blogs from dozens of different surgeons, narrow your favorites to about 5 and consult with each of them. Try to meet their patients in person if you can - this will help. Senior Member Tonycc Posted February 21, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 21, 2011 This link is to the forum that discusses patient reviews of surgeons. It's a great place to start looking at which surgeon you want because you can see their before and after photos.
