Senior Member Jotronic Posted September 24, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 24, 2010 This patient came to see Dr. Hasson eight months ago to have the front and back restored in one session. 4693 grafts were used to rebuild the frontal third of his scalp including the hairline and into the mid-scalp region. The crown was then thickened by following the natural angle and direction of the existing hairs for a fuller overall result. 4693 Grafts Singles...1904 Doubles...2564 3/4...225 And a screenshot from the HD video showing the donor area... Senior Member Jotronic Posted September 24, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 24, 2010 J, I looked in his file but I have nothing immediately after surgery. I do however how a few pics two weeks later once his staples came out and we gave him a nice trim. Senior Member Robin-at-USHR Posted September 28, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 28, 2010 Wow, what a great hair transplantation case! Thanks for sharing Could I ask whether or not the patient is thinking of returning for more work on the crown? The density in that area definitely increased with this surgery, just wondering if he is trying for even thickness throughout. Robin I am employed by Dr. Parsa Mohebi at US Hair Restoration. Senior Member Jotronic Posted September 30, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 30, 2010 Robin, Thank you for your comments and your question. This patient is happy where he is, understandably, however it wouldn't be wise for him or us to make any assumptions of more work for the crown since it has more improvement expected. Since he's happy now we do not expect he will want more once the final crown result is mature but of course this cannot possibly counteract any potential issues of "hair greed".
