David Mendez
Can anyone share their opinions on Bosley? They seem to be less expensive than other Hair transplant groups but are they good?
Regular Member Peaceful_Lion Posted June 4, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted June 4, 2008 STAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY from Bosley, there are so many discussions here that you can search using the "Find" botton. dont even think about it twice. here are some suggestions on the docs here: Ron Shpairo,Rahal,Hasson & Wong, Feller
Senior Member Dewayne Posted June 4, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted June 4, 2008 Like the Lion said, be careful.... While Bosley might have some good docs, you increase the chance you'll either end up looking worse, or waste some of your limited donor area. Where are you? Along with the ones he mentioned, I'd offer Cooley in NC, Charles in FL, Griffin in Atl, Carman in CA, Lindsey in Va., and a lot of others. Check out the "Find a Physician" feature above. 100? Senior Member hairthere Posted June 4, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted June 4, 2008 Dr.Feller is one of the top 5 docs in the world and he's less expensive than Bosley. As the others have stated, you are taking a huge risk by going to them. count your blessings you found that out now. Senior Member HK500 Posted June 5, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted June 5, 2008 Bosley is a factory assembly line. You might come out just ok in the best case scenario, more often you'll end up with problems. They are not cheaper, often they are more expensive and I am not even talking about the cost of corrective surgeries should you need them. Do not take unnecessary risks, stay with the recommended Doctors it's the only way to be sure. Where are you located? Senior Member M&M Posted June 5, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted June 5, 2008 From experience, I can also say that their work is very subpar and they do nothing to warn youngsters (ie. like when I was 20) about things like permanent shockloss, scarring, pitting, or finite donor hair. But this is what I have now thanks to them. As suggested, take your time, do your research and do not let a small amount of money change your fate for the worse. ___________________________ 1662 with Dr. Ron Shapiro - Spring 2006 1105 with Dr. Ron Shapiro - Fall 2009 M&M Weblog
