  1. I am still Here,I am just extremely busy with school,I am 8 months post op,had 1700 on my hairline with Dr.Rahal in March 2008,I am pretty happy except that my right temple is kinda see through I am hoping that it will get a bit thicker in the upcoming months
  2. welcome to HTN Bugs as "thanatopsis" said,Location should be your least consideration if you are looking to get a decent HT.I went to Canada for mine ! Also, though hairline requires a more artistic surgeon, the nature of the HT is still the same regardless where you need hair: Hair removal from back to the where it is needed So don't think that since you don't need a hairline job, anybody can give you a good HT ! finally, my logic is this: if you are willing to pay lets say 6-8 K to get it done, then a 300 to 400$ for a ticket and hotel shouldn't be a big factor for you on you decision.
  3. Dude get yourself together and make sure you don't let depression destroy you. Just shave it bald and keep it that way for some time till you become 1 or 2 yeras older to get a HT.I personally would suggest that you wait more but I know people that have done it in early 20's.I did it when I was 24 (4 months ago). meanwhile don't stay home behind the computer,go out and do the normal activities such as school and sports.you are not alone ! there are so many people at your age going bald ! including myself (when I was 19) HT can be done even without you being on propecia, just wait a little bit and don't waste waste your youth by sitting home and getting depressed.
  4. I am 4 moths post-op and not even myself can detect "exactly" where my scar is and I mean that without any exaggeration.
  5. you need to have reasonable expectation and understanding of HT and that requires doing research for some time. The chance of things going wrong with your HT will be very small if you chose the right doctor. so Again,if you chose the right doctor,HT shouldn't affect you in any negative way at all !
  6. dude, you look so different from your pre-ops looks amazing, very natural, can you get a hairline shot? congrats
  7. it's a huge improvement,congratulations
  8. MAKE SURE YOU ASKED THEM FIRST HOW MUCH IT IS GOING TO COST!!!! this may sound unbelievable but they charged me 56 in the hospital and then sent me a bill for 468 $ which I did not pay.I am going there tomorrow to ask them what the hell is going on,I hope that it's a mistake!
  9. hopefully you do your research and find the right person and say goodbye to hairloss once and for all
  10. I am very glad to hear that you are happy with the final result,it really looks amazing,I hope my result will be close to yours
  11. "Nioxin for thin hair" is the best product out there,it's a bit expensive though but its difference is clear
  12. stay awwwaaaaaaaaaaayyyy from Bosley!!! 1) your final result will never be as good as what you could achieve with some of these great doctor recommended here 2) you will be ripped off
  13. I really think it is,I remember when I was worried about little red dots on my planted area,Bill told me that it is a sign of growth and damn he was right,I can definitely see growth so maybe I am just entering the next phase
  14. Hello guys I am 3 months post op and during the night I caught myself scratching the transplanted area unintentionally !! when I look at it,nothing has happend but am very afraid that I may cause damage to that area. I would really appreciate your response.

  16. I have been using Propecia and Rogaine togather for almost 3 years now,it did me wonders ! not only I was able to keep my hair,I grew some hair back on temple area plus lots of baby hair which it did kinda help to cover my balding temple a bit. Although Rogaine grow a little bit on the temple,it definitely helped me keep the other hair layers behind the receiding ones from falling. combining propecia and Rogaine is the BEST thing you can possibly do since these are the only FDA approved drugs. Stay on PROPECIA and KEEP on using Rogaine TWICE A DAY on your temple,so many people say it doesnt do anything but it worked for me and I am not one of those guys dreaming,it really did work. I also suggest using the shampoo NIOXIN (for thinning hair) which is a bit expensive but it is the best shampoo that I have ever used,a quick research will tell you how good of a product this is.Also definitely wash your hair at least every other day because Rogaine tends to become thes little white dots if not cleaned after a while.
  17. as a new member,I don't think I have much right to tell whether Dr.Umar should be recommended or not. But after watching 2 videos and couple of his results,I must say,I would totally feel comfortable getting a HT from him.
  18. Unbelievable ! I am really speechless ! I am just so happy for that guy! so happy ! The best Transformation that I have everrrrrrrrr seeen !! the hairline was designed perfectly ! just perfect !
  19. sit back and enjoy it cause you have simply chosen THE BEST.
  20. no worries bro, this is temporarily, just ignore it for now, give it another two months and I am sure those little bastards will start growing soon
  21. I am 2 months post-op now,I will post pics on my 3 months mark M&M. I only got 1700 grafts to fix my hairline and according to Dr.Shapiro,my hairline was appropriate for my age. He said, work CAN be done but he wouldn't do it NOW.I was tired of waiting. I am glad that I did it.I just hope that everything turns out fine.I see some growth already, just cant wait to go through the thickening process.
  22. yeah Dude,Bill is right, give it a year. If all the hairs hopefully grows, you will be just fine.just know that in the worst case, you still have a chance to fix it if you chose the right doc.
