Senior Member Dewayne Posted March 11, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted March 11, 2008 another person about their hair transplant, when it's obviuos they've had one? And, after a couple of weeks when I get my good one, talk to them about the advances that have been made. I know a couple of guys casually that I'm 99% certain have had some plug work. I'm not sure if they can tell that I have, but probably. One is a teacher at my son's school. He has to slic them back in his front, and it looks pretty bad. 100? Senior Member notgoing2gobald Posted March 11, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted March 11, 2008 I think the plug ettiquette is like not wearing white after Memorial Day... you don't ask unless they still have scabs on their noggin'..... -OR- maybe you could kind of charm it out 'em like---- WoW! That's a cool hair cut! Who cuts your GRAFTS? -OR- what kind of gel do you throw in those PLUGZ?...
Senior Member the B spot Posted March 11, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted March 11, 2008 No-- share your experience FIRST, express your happiness and allow them to open up to you about theirs. It is my experience that most men with obvious HT's are often reticent to talk about the results, unless prompted by your openess first. Plus, its rude to just ask! Hope this helps out, Jason Go Cubs! 6721 transplanted grafts 13,906 hairs Performed by Dr. Ron Shapiro Dr. Ron Shapiro and Dr. Paul Shapiro are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. Senior Member nobuzz4me Posted March 11, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted March 11, 2008 Good question, Plug etiquette, sounds sexy doesn't it NG? I think it depends how well you know this person and if you approach it with empathy, it may be the best news that guy ever heard. He may not know of the repair work that is available to him. Bill - Seemiller
I think the important thing to consider here is that just about everyone (with the exception of a very select group) won't broadcast their hair transplant and are just trying to restore their hair naturally so nobody will ask. Therefore, I agree that unless someone tells you first, that it's probably better to bring up your own experience or not bring it up at all Bill
