Senior Member parable Posted March 13, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 13, 2009 Guys, Quick question, Has anyone ever used an ingrow solution (contains Isopropyl Alcohol) to get rid of pimples etc on the recipient areas when they start arising after a transplant (1-3 months post op)? It's the same type of alcohol solution that some use to get rid of shaving bumps. Does anyone know if it will have an adverse effect on graft growth? Bill - Seemiller
Parable, I've never used it, but check with your doctor to make sure it's ok to use. After my second surgery, I used tendskin. Tendskin also contains alcohol and I used it about 2 months after the procedure to help reduce pimples and redness. Bill

THis product is also market in my country here, to treat "razor bumps" and ingrown hairs...though I've never had to use it. take care...
