  1. Hi Guys, To be straight with you I wouldn't recommend any in Australia at the moment and that's after consulting, being in contact, seeing results first hand. Obviously as you should know, Dr Barry White should be avoided at all costs and in my opinion, your best bet (at this current time) would be to look in Europe or Nth America. I know Sunnycoast is looking into Dr. Path and like many I believe he does solid work, but I am not completely sold on him yet. Doctor's to look at in my opinion would be H&W (Strip), Shapiro (Strip), Bisanga (FUE and Strip) and a few others.. Hope it helps, if you need more info. Holler me
  2. BSpot- You know I have nothing against you. As you have been a great help and contributor to many a people. Read what I said earlier. I mentioned 'I didn't have a problem with it', that is with those employed by clinics to recruit patients. However, you know and I know there are shills left, right and centre who are willing to do and say whatever necessary to get the unsuspecting and newbies business. I just want to make sure this patient does his own due diligence and finds the right doct. for him.. Cool?
  3. Mate, They did the same things to me. Showed me pictures and all the b's that they throw at you. Heck $6,000 was for a year of treatments and no they did not throw any products in with the program except minoxidil/rogaine. I got a raw deal believe me. I was young and naive. Mate, if you want to continue with the laser treatment which I don't recommend, You're better off buying a hand held laser device you can use in the comfort of your own home. It will save you money and the embarrassment of going to the clinic to get your weekly treatments.
  4. Hey Eastern Boy> Now to be honest with you. Make sure you do your own research and look for the doctor that is suited to you. Just remember there are a lot of overseas clinic that will be vying for your business. Saying all the right things, popping into the threads. blah, blah, blah.. Not that I have a problem with that. But what I am saying is be aware of that and do your due diligence! Holla me as I am an aussie. We had another thread where aussies can chat and get to know each other better here- http://hair-restoration-info.c...66060861/m/936109573
  5. Hey Eastern Boy> I have visited and had Doctor Knudsen help me on a few occasions due to some repair work that I needed. I will be straight with you and let you know that he is helpful, knowledgeable and seems to know his trade. But I will also state that he does rather small sessions and plants at lower densities. If you're happy with that then by all means go to him. But in my opinion you can do better!
  6. Hi SoN, Good to hear from you buddy. The more aussies on the site the better. As for Dr. Marzola, I haven't had a procedure with him so I cannot comment on that. But I knew he was in Adelaide that is why I brought him up earlier. Between us mate and I know others will testify, I wouldn't bother with the laser treatments, I went to Advanced hair for a year of treatments and got ripped off of over $6,000. It isn't worth it mate in my opinion, no growth to speak of. Talk soon mate.
  7. Hi Kristijan, Let me guess. Was it Doctor Marzola? If you're not at liberty to say, no worries mate. Just research and keep researching my man till you find someone your comfortable with.
  8. Great to hear from you guys... I always wondered how many there were of us on the forums.. Check your private messages guys, for my e-mail addy. It would be great to keep in contact and to support each other. Parable
  9. Hi Guys, Just checking in to see how many guys who post on here are from Australia? If you're living in Oz. Let us know, it would be great to get in touch and see how we are all progressing whether we have already had a t.plant or researching into it. Parable
  10. Barry White is the worst. Just a marketing gimmick type bloke who sucks at what he does. Barry white doesn't even perform surgery anymore. But that won't deter him from publishing ad's on t.v and in the paper every chance he gets. There aren't any good doct's so to speak in Aust. at the moment, so your best bet would be to research elsewhere and travel.
  11. Hey Spex, How wide was the scar before the cycle and how wide did the scar end up after the cycle? It looks to be around 1 cm in the after pic but I'm not to sure. Can you please clarify? Also, food for thought; has Dr. Feller or any doctor for that matter thought about acquiring smaller staples? I've noticed that there is at least 5mm from one end of the staple to the other. If someone can get smaller staples, I wonder if that would stop the stretching of the linear scar even further?
  12. There really isn't anyone worth noting in Sydney Australia.. Yet alone Australia as a whole. Whatever you do, keep away From Barry White of National Hair Institute (Melbourne) who also has an office for consultations in Sydney. There is a good FUE surgeon in Sydney but his prices are ridiculous. Best look elsewhere!
  13. Hi Bill/Pat, You may want to check into Dr Martinick's website as she still has recommended doctor listed on her site, when the majority of us know she lost that right a while ago. http://www.newhairclinic.com.au/

  15. Andy1980> Can you post your results from National Hair Institute in Australia. I have never seen nor heard of a good result from them! There has only been negative results from Barry White and Crew! So if you do have a good result I would love to see them!
  16. Dr. Feller's references to the Neograft machine are on a different Forum. Out of respect to the moderators on this site I won't name the forum but have a dig around and you'll find it. Now Dr. Feller, you have a video demonstrating FUE on your website. From what I can gather this is your earlier work that you did on "B'man" correct? (If I am wrong I apologise). However if this is indeed some of your earlier work then why do you keep that video on your site? From what I can tell the punch used in the video on your site is an off the shelf 'cheapo' punch? The one that left white pot mark scarring in B'mans donor area. (Correct me if I am wrong). Why don't you show or why "haven't" you shown details/videos of your new punch and techniques over the years on your site? (Confusing if you ask me).. Because now all of a sudden you explain that you have been doing an advance version of FUE (for over 3-5 years) but you choose to keep your old version of an FUE surgery (video) up on your website. It doesn't make sense!!
  17. Dr. Feller, One thing I must bring up to the community falls into the 'Hype' category. As you are aware that FUE is mostly overhyped and inconsistent results have been the norm as of recent. My question to you is how is this tool any different? You are usually a strong component about transparency and openness and what amazes me is that recently you have been going on a 'slagging' campaign against the Neograft machine (etc.). Whether it works or not remains to be seen, but could this 'slagging/mocking' of the machine have to deal with the fact you are just trying to market this new product/invention. I also have to say in (nearly) every post when talking about FUE you always state that in order to move FUE forward the three forces that are detrimental to FUE success have to be addressed. What annoys me is that if your tool really addresses these components then why didn't you state long ago that you had a tool to deal with these issues as opposed to bringing the topic up time and time again as though you yourself were looking for an answer? Rarely ever did you state that you had a tool to deal with these issues and what more led us to believe that you weren't performing FUE as much as strip and preferred strip over FUE because no one had invented a way/tool to deal with these detrimental forces (torsion, traction, compression). I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but until other doct's use this tool and consistent results are seen this could be just another 'hyped' up product, which once again gives the good procedure (FUE) a bad name!!
  18. Dr Feller, Is this the patented Feller Punch that you have been selling on the market for years (.8 and .9mm punches). If not, and this is something new, how does this punch deal with the 3 forces (that you often mention) that are detrimental to FUE success (Torsion etc?)
  19. What more, I have checked into his website and hair transplants are not the only thing this clinic is practicing. He's doing tummy tucks, ear and eye lid surgery.. Tell me something doct. Do you also perform these procedures on the same days that you do the 3-4 hair transplant patients?
  20. Come on man. Am I going to be the only poster out there who is going to be straight! This is ridiculous. You're doing three-four patients a day? Only spend 20 minutes or so on the strip removal when most top surgeons spend around 45-60 minutes to cut down on the transection. Then you make all recipient sites within 30 minutes on a three thousand graft case. Mind you what about patients who are partially thinning, Which means more caution should be taken when making slits between existing hairs. And still this doctor states that he does three-four patients a day? This sounds more like a hair mill to me.. Now take my opinion for what it is worth, it doesn't bother me, but just recently who could forget that this doctor wasn't even having his techs dissect grafts under microscopes?? Also as for Ammars, you need to chill a bit. It's understandable to be excited about your recent plant. But man, you sound like a cheerleader going on about how good the Doctor is. You haven't had any grown out results yet. So maybe you should wait a little before bragging this doctor's name every chance you get! Just my two cents..
  21. Guys, Quick question, Has anyone ever used an ingrow solution (contains Isopropyl Alcohol) to get rid of pimples etc on the recipient areas when they start arising after a transplant (1-3 months post op)? It's the same type of alcohol solution that some use to get rid of shaving bumps. Does anyone know if it will have an adverse effect on graft growth? Cheers, Parable

  23. Remember that other forum is probably sponsored By Armani, So therefore they won't allow negative postings about his work!
  24. Did you have any growth with your strip plant with Armani (FUSS)?
  25. The only thing that concerned me was when you stated the strip removal was over in a matter of minutes. Especially with the extra scarring you had there in the donor from previous surgeries. In all honesty, if the strip was removed that fast then the doctor obviously transected a lot more grafts than say Dr. Pathomvanich or H&W who take up to an hour to remove it..
