Regular Member Irish-1 Posted May 1, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted May 1, 2009 Does $5.00 per graph up to 2000 Does that sound about average? Also i have seen that after 2000 they reduce the cost, is that correct? Just curious! Thanks again! Senior Member dakota3 Posted May 1, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 1, 2009 Sounds about right. Some charge a little less and some charge a little more. I assume you are qouting H&W's prices. Correct???
Senior Member miked Posted May 1, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 1, 2009 Dr. Ross (La Jolla CA) website lists their HT at $3 per graft all inclusive. in full disclosure I had my HT there. Just trying to indicate that costs can vary dramatically. Some outfits in Brazil charge $2 or less. I was looking to spend $10k or less, and found I could generally get 2500 grafts (paying cash in advance) for anywhere from $8500 to $11,000 - from the top 5 doctors I had narrowed down based on reputation and skill. That group included Charles, Cooley, Feller, Alexander, and the guy from Nashville. H&W recommended 4,000 which of course is a little more. In hindsight though, I wish I'd went with about 3500 grafts. 100? Bill - Seemiller
Tos7581, $5 per graft is pretty average. Many, but not all clinics will offer a discount after 2000 grafts. Some clinics do their pricing differently and charge per session size rather than per graft. Best wishes, Bill
Regular Member Irish-1 Posted May 3, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 3, 2009 Thanks for the response, i am looking forward tp my consult with Dr. Shapiro tomorrow (SMG) and Dr. Konior shortly after that, as far as costs my range is 9k-12k but if more is needed not an issue. If i were to need 3500 graphs would either of those 2 Dr's be able to perform the procedure in one visit? thanks! (i believe i am a 3v maybe a 4) Todd World Class HT-Dr. Ron Shapiro 6/29/2009 4792 FU Total Hairs-9731
