Hi Folks,

Im having some major shedding at the tough of my head. Im 6+, almost 7 months post op. Its been quite itchy in that area, is this the problem? I am hoping that I am not losing hair so quick. Ive been using Nizoral + nioxin nearly daily(one of the other) using rogaine on my crown, and taking propecia as long as i remember to take it.Has anyone experienced somethign like this?

I didn't have any of this with my first HT nor have I heard it being a common occurrence. As far along as you are I'd think your new hair would be coming in nicely by now. What is shedding, your native hair or transplanted hair? I'd recommend calling your surgeon to get his professional opinion.

Yes, I am losing in the transplanted areas, but Im not sure is those are the hairs that were there before or the transplanted hairs. What can I do? Try a different shampoo? Im using Nizoral + Nioxin. Im not sure what is causing the shedding. What is it that I can do? I am using Rogaine on the crown for the last couple of months, and have been taking Propecia every 2-3 days as long as I remember. Does anyone have any suggestions?
