Senior Member Dr. Michael Beehner Posted January 14, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 14, 2010 This 70 y/o female presented a few years ago for a single hair transplant session of 1881 grafts (approximately 15% were MFU's). Because her donor hair was of much stronger coarseness (diameter) than the native hair on top, she had an unusually good result one and a half years later, as seen in the photos attached. She does color her hair. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted January 14, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 14, 2010 Definite 'wow' result. Looks like the coarse hair + good number of MFU's + careful planning on your part created a great result. Very well done Dr Beehner. The patient must be extremely pleased by the transformation as well! Bill - Seemiller
Dr. Beehner, This looks like a homerun result to me. It's hard to believe it's only 1881 grafts, but I imagine the MFU's helped to aid the illusion of density. Thanks for posting, Bill
Senior Member orangehair Posted January 15, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 15, 2010 not unusual for it to take multiple steps to get this type of result for a female patient, the combo of mfu's and hair texture definitely a plus - a really nice cosmetic transformation, well done VP Patient & Media Relations for The Hair Loss Doctors by Robert J.
