Regular Member Relaxo Posted November 19, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted November 19, 2007 Does anyone have a good reputation for having quick post-surgery recovery time. With my line of work, I really can't afford to take much time off post surgery and don't want to look like I just had hair transplant surgery (obviously)....I'm trying to decide b/w Shapiro, Griffin, Bernstein, and Rahal. Senior Member hairbank Posted November 19, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 19, 2007 No, I have not heard of any particular Doc with a rep for HT patients healing faster than another. As long as you go to a doc who is performing state-of-the-art, ultra-refined Ht's with minimally invasive incisions, you should heal fine. Usually the minimum for all scabing and pink skin-tint to go away is 2 weeks at a minimum............maybe in some cases a little soon or much later depending on how you heal............everyone's different. Regular Member 10 years out Posted November 19, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted November 19, 2007 My scabs began to fall off on day 5, so I guess i was very fortunate. I looked pretty much normal after 14 days.

Senior Member MrJobi Posted November 20, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 20, 2007 No doc has a secret for quick post op as people heal at different times. I would probably avoid shaving the area because you can't hide the work or scabs. Senior Member nobuzz4me Posted November 20, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 20, 2007 Relaxo, Provided your doc uses small incisions, it is all about the patient's own physiology. I am a fast healer and most of my tiny incision scab came of by day 5. NoBuzz
