How long it takes for 3000 graft surgery?

Friends, Please do help me with this issue: If a Dr plans to do a 3000 graft session in a matter of about 4 hours, is it realistic and possible with say just a couple technical staff?

I mean is there a possibility that he is actually going to plant less number of grafts than he promised? I will appreciate honest opinions.

I'm not saying you can't do 3000 grafts in 4 hours....but I doubt you would get a good result.

Sounds like BS to me....more like 1200 grafts 3000 HAIRS.

Even that in 4 hours is a stretch..more like 6.

I think you might want to re-evaluate going forward right now.

harry101,

Quite frankly, I have a hard time believing a 3000 graft procedure can be performed in only 4 hours, that is, unless the clinic is being hasty - which could be a detriment to the fnal result. Hair restoration surgery is about quality not speed. Thus, I'd be extremely careful with who you select to perform your surgery.

Best wishes,

Bill
