  1. For somebody it did, but for someone unfortunately it did not. Young Man Files Impotence Lawsuit Against Propecia | breakinglawsuitnews.com
  2. Why does everybody thinks it is a problem in DHT? DHT is NOT the problem, the problem is faulty genetics or some cell mutations that occur in human body for some reason. Now, THAT is the main problem, DHT in normal % in the body is vital for a man?s health. Anybody can take anything they want but that chemistry is just wrong and primitive, time will tell us how stupid we were like we laugh today to our ancestors who used to let blood for a simple flu and weaken the body even more.
  3. @trapps99, taking testosterone supplements and blocking DHT on the other side it looks like fighting fire with gasoline. Why would a young man want to block a DHT? DHT serves for a good reason in our body. Some people will say: "but it will save me from prostate cancer in the future, and I will benefit from it on that field bla, bla..." Do you know any man in his 20?s or 30? that have problems with prostate and high amount of DHT, risking a prostate cancer? Jesus Christ in that age you look to jump on any skirt you see like a sexual tyrannosaurus. The same "logic" can be used to have your 10 year old son taking pills for lowering high blood pressure, because one day when he turns 60 he may have that problem so why not benefit now? If it ain?t broken do not fix it.
  4. We can say many things about anyone but when it comes to engineering Germans are Gods. I hope this will make things go faster a bit.
  5. I do not have anything against anyone using finasteride, dutasteride or any other therapy for combating hair loss but I personally just can?t believe that we now in a well paved 21 st century are using this more than a really primitive and hazardous technology to keep or maybe gain a few more hairs. That is just ridiculous, if it is not sad or even tragic. To potentially endanger your health for a few lousy hairs makes no sense. Sometimes the human race is just tragicomic. http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/ucm258314.htm
  6. I think this news will be interesting to many finasteride users. FDA Drug Safety Communication: 5-alpha reductase inhibitors (5-ARIs) may increase the risk of a more serious form of prostate cancer

  9. Found something very interesting about Follica. Type "Follica" in the "Search" field and then click on DE in the lower left corner. You will get some very useful data on what are they currently doing. https://www.clinicaltrialsregister.eu/ctr-search/
  10. If Dr. Bernstein says so, there must be something developing. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/05/fashion/05SKIN.html?_r=3&partner=rss&emc=rss
  11. Another small news from Follica. Personally, this company goes on my nerves. Follica Sheds More Light on Hair Re-Growth Invention | Xconomy
  12. In my country there are quite some men that are bald and in their ?90s, some of them were bald in their teens. They are all caucasian. I personally do not believe in this stories. Yet, a yearly complete systematic examinations should be administered by all people, not related to sex, age or mentioned prostate cancer.
  13. OK if that post was unacceptable, I hope this one will be more acceptable. (Link Removed by Moderator)

  17. Some updates, but we will need some science expert in this field to explain this. Journal of Clinical Investigation -- Bald scalp in men with androgenetic alopecia retains hair follicle stem cells but lacks CD200-rich and CD34-positive hair follicle progenitor cells
  18. I believe that some time in the future baldness will be even fashionable. Man is a strange "plant".
  19. Today, nothing makes a long time, when we are talking about market competition. When you make a lucrative product, a competition gets you fast. So someone can charge their product all they want, but when the competition goes with a more affordable approach, that 1st one will be out of business. Making an affordable approach is the key to victory in my opinion, a greed never works in long terms.
  20. I personally think that the costs won?t be sky high. Costs sure will be high, but affordable for the most of the population. That is how a good business is being made, making your product highly wanted at the market and affordable for almost anyone. Ford would not be a Ford if he charged his cars like Mercedes and the rest did theirs. Sure, later on, when India, China, Turkey, Egypt, S. Korea etc. start their own business, costs will naturally go down even more.
  21. That?s why I have posted the news, we expect a lot from Follica so what they have to say is double of importance in my book.
  22. Some Follica updates. At last, some word. Follica | Follica Co-founder and Scientific Advisor, George Cotsarelis, M.D. Publishes New Research on Hair Follicle Stem Cells in <i>The Journal of Clinical Investigation</i> http://www.xconomy.com/boston/2011/01/04/follica-co-founder-and-team-find-new-clues-about-male-baldness/
  23. Not just the Histo but TrichoScience also. Read the Item 4, Page 21. Untitled Page
  24. We will know everything when the time comes for that. I want to see the pictures myself. I see some people are angry and that is understandable, but if it is time to throw "rocks" on someone, that "rocks" should fly on Follica?s windows. I am not trying to start a violence here, I hope you understand that. Cheers.
  25. Yeah, Colin Jahoda and Angela Christiano made a breaking point in 1990 when Jahoda transplanted a follicle from his head to arm and saw it grew. But no one till now gathered around a team of scientists in such numbers around the globe and actually made real experiments on humans. We haven?t had this for instance. http://www.biotechnologie.de/BIO/Navigation/EN/Funding/foerderbeispiele,did=104568.html?listBlId=77770
