  1. Dwayne, I'm at about 7 weeks and I can see some new growth, so it is very exciting. Keep it up my fellow Dr. Cooley brotha!! Jabba
  2. 3v 2008 You have chosen a great Doctor in Dr. Cooley. I had my surgery on April 18th. I have experienced little to no shock loss and can see many new hairs sprouting at less tha 2 months. My scar feels great, although still red. I had my hair cut at 1 month and the hairdresser never noticed my scar. Whatever Cooley suggests, I would go with that. Plus you will get many free graphs as well. I paid for 2500 and ended up getting over 3100 graphs. You can start Propecia at anytime. Good Luck. Jabba
  3. Thanks Guys, I went to the doctor at 10 days and while waiting, I decided to leave and wait a few more days. I ended up waiting until day 14. I'm glad I waited. The nurse said that the scar looks good and it has healed well. Jabba
  4. I played at two weeks and felt fine. However, I've had very little tightness and was careful not to over swing etc. Jabba
  5. Dwayne, Thanks, I can wait a few more days. Did you have any bleeding after they came out? Have you shed your hairs yet. The short hairs are pretty neat to have! Jabba
  6. I'm at 10 days today. What is the ideal amount of time to wait for suture removal? They are not dissolvable. Jabba

  8. Doug, You will be very pleased with Ailene and how thorough she is in the consultation. She will take as much time as you need. Make sure you have all of your questions ready. She will then get Dr. Cooley out of surgery to look your head over and estimate how many graphs you will need. There is absolutley no pressure from them to book an appointment. You will be pleased. Good Luck!! Jabba
  9. Dwayne, I'm at 6 days today so it will be a few more days on the (regular)stitches. They haven't bothered me too much and I have not felt that much tightness that some feel. I remember toward the end of the surgery, he gave me a shot that he said would prevent swelling (I didn't have any swelling). All of my scabs in the front are gone and the ones in the back are a day or two away. I go back to work on the 28th, so I should be ok. I just wish the little hairs would stay and keep growing. I can't say enough about Dr. Cooley and his staff. I even mentioned you to him. I remember saying a lot of things to them but being half out of it. I'm sure that they get that from everyone. Jabba
  10. Bill, Is there a transcript of the chat? It would be nice to be able to read the chat. Thanks, Jabba
  11. Dewayne, Should I call him and demand those two graphs refunded-he!he! Fyi, I was scheduled for 2500 and he gave me 3139, so I got 639 at no charge or as Dewayne would say 637!! Jabba
  12. Dewayne, I did use saran wrap on the 2nd night with no problems. Maybe I should have did it the first night as well. You live and learn. If I only lost 2 graphs out of 3139, that's not too bad. Thanks, Jabba
  13. For what it's worth This is an excerpt from BernsteinMedical.com on after care. Lost or Dislodged Grafts It is not uncommon to loose a few grafts after the hair restoration procedure. Do not be concerned, this is expected.
  14. Dr. Cooley was wonderful. Read my blog under jabba and Dewayne's blog. We have both been treated by Cooley in the last few weeks. He and his staff were very professional and they will give you 10% off with cash. Jabba
