How was he the first time?

If this wasn't the hairline you and the surgeon discussed before your surgery, then you should complain around the 1 year point when it all grows in so there are no excuses from the surgeon.
-
I'm pretty both Letterman and Reynolds wear wigs. Reynolds has a similar one to Elton John I think. They probably go to the same guy to have them customly fit, haha.
-
I know what you mean about your image for years to come. The issue is dense packing. I don't believe your whole head can be dense packed. When the surgeons drew a hairline for me the 2,000 grafts only dense packed a small portion of my head.
Find out how many grafts you have available.
I got on Finasteride last month. I might as well stabilize my hair now from any further recession.
I am not a doctor though and my opinions are from research.

Dr. Rahal quoted me around $4,780 for 1,500 grafts U.S. I remember it came out to $3.19 a graft U.S. This is around $2,000 less than the other surgeons that I contacted. I live in Ft. Lauderdale so this included my travel discount.

I see you have a little more recession than me and I am 26. You also have a different hair type.
I wanted to get work done on my temples and hairline when I was 23, but one of the most respected doctors on here said to wait a few years since I am still young.
I was very eager to get a H/T done this year since I didn't receed. Also within the past 2 months I have visited 3 different surgeons. Each of them telling me that 2,000 grafts would be ideal, but it's impossible to tell if I will lose more hair and that would be a risk I must take.
But I thought about a few key elements to having the hair that I want and why I have decided against it for a few more years;
1. My hairline might recede past the transplanted grafts leaving me with numerous touch ups.
2. I am only 26 and you never know if I will become a NW 6. I am a 2 right now but my family history is mixed with good and bad hair. You look to be a 2 as well.
3. Even though I have plenty of donor hair (well above average), if I use up 2,000 to fill in my temples and hairline, I will use up important hair if I do recede later on really badly.
So I have decided to wait a few more years. I'm not saying that you shouldn't get a hair transplant. I am just saying that my advice is a good thing to take under consideration.
Also you know where I got this advice... On here from people that want to help you! ; )

My diet never changed. I once took Finasteride 2 years ago for about 2 weeks. In that time it made me constipated as well. I just found on the internet some people talking about it making them constipated.
-
I've been taking Finasteride for a few weeks now. Ever since taking it I have been very constipated. I keep having to take laxatives just to get a bowel movement. I never used laxatives in the past so I know it's because of Finasteride.
Is this normal for Finasteride users? Thanks!

I started taking Finasteride a month ago. When does it take full effect? Thanks!

I always thought Nicholas Cage had a wig or work done.

I had a consultation with Dr. Konior back in 05'. I didn't end up getting a hair transplant, but his office is beautiful and he was a stand up guy! He told me to come back a few years and see how my hair recession was. His work to me looks stunning!

I got some quick replies from Adrian, but my last e-mail was sent over 2 weeks ago and I never got a reply. I'm sure it was lost from the overload of e-mails Dr. Rahal is getting!
I'm calling clinics from now on. I just don't really have the time to speak in the day time. Some patient advisors can speak for hours and e-mails are much better for some people like me.

I am a huge fan of "The Office" and noticed how thin he was in season 1. Then in season 2-5 he had much better, thicker hair.
I figured that he had a transplant. Regardless he looks much better in season 2-5!

Yeah but if you can't reach his office to make the in person meeting than what?????
I guess I'll just knock on their door and ask if he is free.

From what I've researched Dr. Rose in Tampa is at the top of the food chain and close to you.

I've been using Nioxin system 5. It's for medium/course normal to thinning hair. I personally love it! My gf even uses it sometimes.
Each system # is for a different hair type. Look them up online.

Wow 4 unhappy guys so far in just a few days on this thread! Can you imagine how many others are having problems trying to get answers from Dr. Fellers staff? 4 guys alone could have been over $50,000 profit for their clinic!
Whom ever is in charge of receiving e-mails and calls should be talked to in a quiet room and explained that this is their job!
I am a consultant for a surgical team (not hair related) and even though I'm swamped with e-mails and calls, it is my job to assist to the best of my abilities!

Me too I'm sad to say! They were the FIRST office I contacted by e-mail a few months ago due to reputation on here, but I never got a reply.
But then again Spex said in my thread that I don't need a hair transplant, unlike the other top surgeons I have visited, so I figured that was the answer.
It's too late I'm going somewhere else...

6 months! I heard from each surgeon 1 month tops for extensive lifting and 1 week for light lifting that doesn't flex the neck.

How many grafts are you shooting for? As a virgin scalp, depending upon the # and doc, you may really not need to worry too much about scalp exercises, IMO.
Also, who told you that you are at greater risk for a stretched scar? Epstein, right?
I am looking at 1,500-2,000 grafts.
Yes it was Dr. Epstein. I will ask the other surgeons that I'm in contact with.
If any other young guys can let me know I'd really appreciate! I'd like to know what the patients said.
I know IrishLad on here had his scar stretch. If a few more guys claim the same.. Well...

Since you had good laxity (loose scalp), is 3271 grafts more than you thought you were getting? If it's more then did they charge you for the extra grafts? Thanks

Dr. Feller, will you be starting a Coalition Workshop to demonstrate this new surgical instrument through "FUE"?
