  1. I will be 26 in 2 months. I've had slight recession in the front of my hairline over the past 8 years, although I've noticed little to no recession over the past 3 years. I have thick dark brown hair but not course. I'm wondering if I am a good candidate for a lower hairline to fit my age. I wouldn't mind my hair line but when the wind blows I'm self conscience of the higher hair line.

Back when I lived in the Chicago area (I was 23) I had a consultation with Dr. Konior. He told me to wait a few years but said I wasn't reseeding back then.

  2. They only prescribe Propecia, but I'd prefer to just buy from a UK site where I don't need a prescription instead of going to the doctor and having to pay for the consultation. I don't like to think I'm cheap, but it really adds up in time to thousands of bucks since we technically can't go off of Propecia/Proscar or the progress will subside..

  3. Hello,

I'm 23 years old and slightly receding on my front sides, and since I believe it's a balding process and not just recession with age, I want to take care of it now.. I just bought Proscar so that's taken care of... I bought a pill cutter.. Do I take it in quarters? I also need to know which Minoxidil to take? That's Rogaine, right? Also, I found that people like the Nioxin and Nizoral Shampoo's. There are so many to choose from of the Nioxin products.. Which one best suits me? I take Pantene now and it's just too darn strong! Plus I'm not sure if I should rotate Nizoral & Nioxin each day?? There is Nizoral 1% and 2%.. Which one do I need if I need it at all with Nioxin??

My consultation with Dr. Konior will be in 2 long months.. Thanks so much all!!! This forum will change my life!!

    Dan

  4. Hello, icon_smile.gif

I am 23yrs. and I have been losing my hair from both sides of the hairline for about 3 years now. I still can blow dry my hair so it looks like I have a great head of hair, but I know within the next few years it will start looking like a comb over, and I never want to look obvious to the public.

With money not being a concern and I've seen commercials on Bosley, Hair club, etc.. I'd like to know which one is the most natural, especially for someone who is my age?? I am also a very good looking guy who can't picture me bald. I'd be a great guy for a before and after pic, hehe..

I am in the North Shore of Illinois.. I know there is a Hair Transplant clinic (maybe Bosley) witin 10 minutes away, but which do you all suggest??

My hair is in your hands and I ask you all kindly to please help me out!! : )

    Thanks all!! Dan
