I'm talking about the hairline that we already have, not the new one, there's no way to regrow hair back to it once it comes out? That's such sad news for me.. I'm deciding on taking propecia, only problem is, i've heard it lowers your testosterone.. hence.. less manly.. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks in advance

I've never been able to really enjoy my hair.. all my life, i'm born with a really high hair line.. my hair was wavy.. so i couldn't gel it up even if i wanted to. And now i'm thinning in my front, its to a point where i can see my whole entire scalp through my hair line. Do you know how depressing that is for me.. i'm so young.. and i realize that aside from having hating my hair from the beginning, i now have to worry about how to keep it.. I don't even feel like a teenager anymore.. and have no idea why i've noticed it so suddenly.. It maybe psychological or not, but i think its getting worse.. i'm so sad.. hi hairseeker, i've been dealt with 2 bad cards.. i was born with a high hairline and i'm 19 years old right now. Too make it worse, my hairline is starting to thin.. i didn't think people could thin at this young a age.. so even if i'm able to stop the thinning..i'm still left with a high hairline.. Which is why i asked if there was anyway to create a new hairline with HT being that i think i'm too young for it.. by the way. what's finesteride?

just curious, what are the side effects of propecia than in the 2.9 percent?

thanks for the info.. who should i talk to about hair loss.. a dermatologist (skin doctor)? I don't even know if there are any Hair Doctors.. how about the recommendations i got from the people.. taking multiviatmins, and zinc. using baby shampoo... Would those help prevent FURTHER hairloss?

I'm fairly young, 19 years old, but i can't help but notice that my hair in my front portion of my hairline is thinning, i can see my scalp.. so should i be worried? I'm already trying to take precautions.. and asked some people around.. Could anyone tell me if any of these are solutions to PROLONG OR PREVENT hairloss? 1.Taking Multi-vitamins and taking Zinc. 2.Using baby shampoo because its lighter.. gentle for the hair.. Those were the suggestions i was given, i know their simple but are they effective? Can Anyone else suggest anything i should take? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

Thanks a lot guys, i'll try and see if they have propecia here in hong kong. And PD.. i dunno, but i somehow have to agree with you on the water issue, just because the hairloss does seem to be sudden, its never been that noticable until just these past 2 weeks.. and being so hot over here.. i tend to shower every day.. but one more question, maybe kind of silly, but does wearing hats/caps cause hairloss by any chance? Most likely not.. right? Just wondering cause i do tend to wear hats a lot recently.. Any help appreciated, thanks for the info you guys gave me.

Does Rogaine work in the frontal part of the head though? I heard its only efficient for thinning in the back area of your head...
