  5. Grace, Thanks for getting back to me thru this thread. I understand that you should judge evryone and every office individually, but the facts are very hard to dispute. I've read countless complaints on bosely and have even read that licences have been suspended in some states. Thanks as well for providing some info on the trico procedure. I hope that someday all bosely offices can clean up their acts so more people dont have to suffer. This Question goes out to anyone whose had a HT w/ Bosely? On your consult was their an "employee" working who supposedly had the procedure done and showed you before and after pics? I had one such person who showed me pics and he looked great. He had a thick full head of hair. I now believe that he never had a transplantt but was trying to pull the wool over my eyes. If anyone else experienced this i'd like to know please.
  6. Rhodeman, No i havent posted any pics yet i'll eventually get to it. Yes Bosely took pics before. Do you really think they'll give me my money back if i gather some info on claims and complaints about them. Bill, I dont think Grace works for Dr Phillips i was just PM ing her to see if she could give me any info on what i could do to re-coup my money
  7. Rhodeman, My Doc was DR Phillips out of Boston. Im not happy because of the lack of results. I dont see any growth at all. Thanks for the advice. I have P.M'd Grace and she hasnt responded back to me so i think shes trying to avoid my questions. Im dealing w/ the fact that i got screwed by bosely and i'll eventually talk to dr phillips about my dissapointment w/ his work , but i doubt i will get anywhere w/ that. I may have to cut my losses and start from scratch. I do have to say though, that if i dont get anywhere w/ dr phillips i will take every chance i can to warn people of the bad results that bosely produces. Cant tell im a little bitter can you?
  8. Ive scheduled an appointment for a consultation w/ Dr Epstien for a month from now. I had my first HT done w/ bosely witch propably tells you how it turned out. My questions are??? 1) how detrimental to the HT is it to always wear a hat after the procedure, 2) when can i resume normal activity AKA Weightlifting and running?, and are there any suggestions on anything that you think i could miss on being careful after surgery??? I cant help but think that i may have contributed to the "lack of results" by starting back at the gym 10 days after the HT and by wearing a hat all of the time afterwards. THANKS GUYS

  10. I dont see how it could make things worse. If anything i think it would be better. my opinion only, but when i see person w/ a shaved head i dont take a 2nd look, but because im also losing my hair everytime i see someone with thining hair i actually say to myself how much better would that person look if they just shaved. I do have a scar on the back of my head but am more comfortable showing that than my thinning hair. If your embaressed about the scar just tell people its an old war scar or you wrestle alligators or something. Girls love those stories.LOL!
  11. Let me re-phrase what i said earlier. NO i would not do it again w/ the doc who did my original HT, But if i knew i could get better results w/out having a longer scar and if they could actually somehow make my scar look better than why the hell not. Your not alone BTW when you say its hard to enjoy life w/out hair. I truly hope that you get everything you hope for out of this. People say "thats alot of money to spend on hair" but what the hell good is money if you stick yourself in your house all the time and never come out to spend it because your so selfconcious.Good Luck!
  12. pokerbrat, Have you ever tried shaving your head. Do yourself a favor and shave it 1st, but keep shaving for a month. You propably wont like it at 1st, but after a while you get used to it i swear. If you want to know.... NO i would not do it over again. Mine was botched and i ended up losing more hair not to mention a 8 inch scar in the back of my head. i have no choice anymore i have to shave my head and to tell you the truth i think shaved heads are making a comeback. ive really gotten used to it. Im way more selfconcious of my scar than my lack of hair. I completly understand the selfconciousness as im the same way, but the sooner you sheve the head the quicker you can get used to it. If you decide after a month you dont like that look then i would say you should look into a HT, but do your homework. Your lucky you found this site 1st. I wasnt so lucky
  13. Grace, Im not big on typing alot of words to express myself so i'll keep it simple. I am not now nor have i ever been employed by a doctor to hype them. I actually got a HT from Dr. Phillips at the Boston Bosely office and i now have less hair than before i had the procedure done. Not to mention an ugly scar on the back of my head. So i can be frank w/ you. You work for a horrible company that ruins more lives than it helps. Read your companies medical violations and know that thats all people need to form a judgment. Sorry to bust your bubble!
  14. Hi power ranger Just thought id chime in here! I had a HT done from bosely 6 months ago and like you i saved my money and was very excited to have the procedure done, and like many others i have been very dissapointed w/ the results. Now i have to meet w/ another doc to try fix what the doctor at boobsely broke. It seems to me that to lose your deposit and still have some sort of dignity is better than losing your deposit on top of them over charging for the butchering that they'll give you. now i dont know if anyone has chimed in here with personal experiance w/ bosely but know you can say you heard it from the horses mouth. P.S Just the fact that they would work on you being so young in all speaks to thier ethics. Try toppik for a while, it definatly makes a huge differance. Good luck!
  15. when you get a 2nd HT do they use the same line to cut into or do they start a new one.
  16. when you get a 2nd HT do they use the same line to cut into or do they start a new one.
  17. Well thats a bummer. Bosely does have a no grow gaurantee, butto tell you the truth id rather cut my losses rather than let them cut into my head again. I cant even begin to tell you how many complaints i read on them after i had the procedure, which really bummed me out. Now that i owe them so much money its gonna be a long time before i can even consider another HT for financial purposes. Your right about the mutilation though although i think he could of done a better job with where he chose to cut.
  18. do you have any pics of your scar? Because i rushed into my first decision to get a transplant i want to make 100% sure this time i do the right thing. Thanks
  19. Looks like you had all 3 HT's done by Dr True. Just for that simple fact i dont need to ask you if he's any good. He and Dorin are actually the ones who are closest to me. Did he do the tricophytic procedure on you or was it another doc?
  20. Thanks! That makes me feel much better. Your right they do have a dont grow warranty, but after reading about Bosely from this and other sites i'd perfer not to subject myself to anymore damage if this one doesnt turn out right. I will look into getting the scar worked on though. Thanks for the advice guys!
  21. Ive been looking into the tricophytic procedures the last couple of days now and it seems to be a little like rolling dice. it may work or it may not work depending on the patients ability to heal and the elasticity of thier skin. Has anyone had this surgery and if so how has it turned out?

  23. I dont have any pics just yet but will post some in the following days. Because im so dissapointed w/ how this transplant went right now im concentrating more on fading or removing the scar more than another transplant, but it seems like it would kill 2 birds w/ 1 stone by getting that Trichophytic closure technique that you were talking about
  24. My doctor was doctor phillips in boston from bosely. Ya i now know that bosely is not the best place to go, but unfortunatly i didnt find out until it was to late. What are the percentages of transplants that dont work?
