If you decide to go with Dr. Hasson, can you please ask him for your hair counts from your surgery? Hi NervousNelly. It's me again. I really liked you recent pictures. It looks like you are healing very quickly and I can hardly tell that you had a hair tranplantation looking at those photos. Can I ask you another question please? How were the staples "punched" in? I mean what does the "stapler" look like? Is there a risk of transecting the hair in the donor area when punching in the staples? I read somewhere that you can take the staples out yourself? How are you suppose to do that? With thin plyers? Hi NervousNelly! How are you feeling today? I forgot to congratulate in my post since I was so excited for you. So Congratulations! I wanted to ask how are you sleeping at night? Is it ok to sleep on the donor closure? If you get grafts put on the temples are you allowed to sleep on the side of your face? The thing I am potentially worried about is that I tend to roll around ALOT while I sleep, which I take is probably not a good thing when you got a transplant, is that correct? How am I suppose to overcome this? Also are you allowed to wear a bicycle helmet after a transplant? Oh yes... are you allowed to drink light beer after a transplant? I just saw your photos. It looks very clean eventhough I was squeemish since I don't like to see blood and cuts. Wow I have all these questions to ask you about your experience and surgery with Dr. Shapiro I honestly don't know where to begin... Anyways... I'm taking your advice and researching the hell out of everything. I guess the first question I want to ask is about shaving the transplanted area.. Well.. when you say loop magnification is that the "flat" longated eye-glass looking things like what electronic technicians use when they soder tiny semiconductors onto circuit boards?... or are they the binocular type things? Do you know how much the loop magnifies? I mean I'm debating right now if shaving is best. I guess in theory Dr. Shapiro could have done the whole thing without shaving right? And I assume that you don't want to shave is because you don't want people to know you had a HT? Anyways... it's late now but I have more questions to ask you about your experience if you don't mind. Hi yall, I've been quietly reading all this. I do want to say thank you to everyone for helping me out. Really. Also I do want to thank Miss Grace... I got a personal check from her in the amount of my deposit FedEx to me today.... However the check has her personal name on it and not the Bosley Company. What does this mean? I hope I'm not taking her personal money away from her?!! Because if it is so, I would feel really horribly bad.... I tried calling Miss Grace but I think she has already gone on her vacation and won't be back for a while... I really want to talk to her about this gesture.... Should I cash the check? .

I mean I have seen people which some hair in frontal third but bald in mid and crown, that looks natural. And another thing: why isn't an option for me to shave my head after a hair transplantation?! My sense is that coalition doctors are better? Because there are fewer of them and the criteria is higher? What exactly is dense packing? If I pick a coalition doctor that leaves me with even less numbers of doctors to choose from. But how am I suppose to decide which coalition doctor? I hear Dr. Hasson is mentioned several times. I guess he is one of the better ones out there? Who else are good? I hear also a lot about Dr. Keene in this forum, I assume he is also very good? Thank you again.

I've been trying to read further and understand some of the other links you advise me too read. Again everything is so overwhelming, but let me try regurjitate what I've and tell if I'm on the right track: -Today hair transplant are not plugs but they remove single hairs. -the benefit is that with that technique you can get a natural look. The limitations are.... it is very technically challenging? -the risk involved is that hair loss is unpredictable and so start off conservatively when young? Have I missed anything? Also you mentioned about Joe Tillman. Who is he? Is he a good hair transplant Doctor? thanatopsis_awry, Thank you so much for replying to me. I've looked at the coalition doctors recommended on this sight. No one are near where I live and the closest coalition doctor that is recommended on this website is: Dr. Lawrence Samuels so you are saying I should ask his input? How am I suppose to do this? I guess I don't know actually what technology the doctor at Bosley is using. But the cosmetic guy showed me a dozen photos which looked pretty good. This list of coaliton doctors. What is this exactly? Is it some sort of an organization? None of them are in Arkansas though. I am reading some of your other links. Lots of good stuff, but it is all so overwhelming. I thought going for an hair transplant would be like going to the dentist but it sounds like it's more like going into brain surgery. I really don't know what to do now.
