  1. Aloha, my 7 weeks pictures are online: http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=2442&WebID=983
  2. Did the same technician implant the grafts on your right side?
  3. Hi Petro, I'd like to see your pics ;-) No, I didn't wash my hair before using Aloe Vera. If my recipient seems to be dry, I'll apply it. But be careful. Only use Aloe Vera without any alcohol!!! Regarding Kelocote: Use it on dry skin and let Kelocote air-dry for three or four minutes after applying. It should remain on your scar for 24 hours. Just wash the scar zone each day with baby shampoo and apply Kelocote again. You should use it at least 60 days.
  4. If I had to decide between Dr. Rose and Dr. Epstein, I would chose Rahal, Hasson or Shapiro ;-) Hahaha... By the way: Noone will give you a guarantee for a small scar. How small your scar will be first of all depends on your own physiology.
  5. Hi Petro, it was part of my own experience and the experiences of many patients in our german forum. It was very important for me to apply only natural stuff (and no alcohol!) on the recipient. You can't go wrong with that. I don't use Aloe on my scar. As I told you in my blog I apply Kelocote Spraygel once a day for three months. It's very expensive (90 Euros/3-4 weeks), but I think it helps to reduce scarring. Actually my scarline is nearly invisible. As you can see... @Fanc: Thanks for your kind words. Much appreciated. Still a long way to go. But I can easily hide my HT by my native hair. That's a great advantage. Doldrums do not kill me :-)
  6. Hi Petro, I stopped using Vitamin-E-Oil after 10 days and started with Aloe Vera Gel (no alcohol in it but only 98 % Aloe and 2 % Panthenol!!!). I applied Aloe Vera three or four times a day to keep the recipient area moist. Take care
  7. Ask for room no. 120. I think my room was much bigger than Azzas (126). And it's only a few metres to the breakfast buffet and to the ice machine which is very important. Even much more important: Sylvie (the girl at the front desk) has Moes cell phone number. You'll need it...
  8. Clint, Reptile - congrats! Rahal is top notch. Give my love to Sylvie (Front Desk of the Adams Airport Inn) ;-) @ reptile: Eman is right. Don't take the risk of poor growth. You shouldn't wear your piece in the next couple of months.
  9. I went back and forth between your pre op and your five month pics and the only thing I can say is: WOW! You can't expect more at this point. Simply great! Keep us posted and please let us have a closer look at your gaps.
  10. Hi guys, updated my weblog with 4 week pics. http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=2442&WebID=983
  11. No advices, Petro - sorry. We just like to have some privacy. :-)
  12. Hi Eman. scar seems to be nice and only one month up to your starting point! Must be a great feeling...
  13. Aloha guys, updated my weblog with three week pics http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...e-page.asp?WebID=983. Most of the transplanted hairs came off, no more redness at all in the recipient zone. scar is nearly invisible (still some shockloss) at this point. Started with Minox Foam 14 days post OP twice a day. I'm already on 1,25 mg Proscar and 3000mg MSM/day. I apply Kelocote Spraygel (it persists on your skin for 24h/you should use it for 90 days) every morning to soften the scar and to eliminate stretching. Additionally I use Aloe Vera Gel (with 2% Panthenol) several times each day to moisturize the recipient zone. Take care DeDom
  14. Hi Clint, check out my weblog: http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=983 If you have any questions - please let me know!
  15. Hey guys, thanks for all your comments. Much appreciated! @Predator: No itching at all. But there's a lot of numbness above the scar. I think, that's quite usual, some nerves have been cut by the strip. It'll take some months to get back to normality - honestly I had expected it. Speedy growth to you, Predator. Only a few weeks up to your starting point!!!!!
  16. Hey guys, updated my weblog with 14-days-post-OP-pictures: - Shedding started after 12 days post OP. I guess, 40-50 percent of the grafts have already disappeared. - Even though Dr. Rahal extremely dense packed the grafts, my recipient area is only slightly pinkish. - Scar looks great right now, but I know that doesn't mean a lot. Anyhow, actually it looks better than after my first surgery. Fingers crossed. Comments are appreciated! http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/journal.asp?CopyID=2385&WebID=983
  17. Sounds like a big promotion campaign. Sorry!
  18. I love this place One user commented on my weblog: "To be true the density doesn't look too good imho. A hairline deserves a higher density." Hey man, it's about 78 grafts/sqcm2
  19. Hi John, I really feel for you and I'm so sorry about your story. As mentioned before, we all want to help you and told you about your repair options. There are several great doctors or their advisors posting on this board. Feller, Shapiro, Konior, H&W - they all helped so many guys. There's no reason to doubt. Aside from that, at this point you have to believe in someone. Feel free to have a look at the incredible number of weblogs created by patients. To be honest: If you talk about your story countless times in overlapping threads, it'll be like a pain in the neck. We are no doctors. We are laypeople. We can't answer all your questions. And I even think, it's not necessary, because some of your thoughts are disconnected from reality.
  20. Aloha from Ottawa, updated my weblog with 5-days-post-op-pics of my recipient zone and the scar. I'd appreciate any comments on the images. http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/journal.asp?CopyID=2318&WebID=983
  21. Thanks for the images, Dr. Feller. Much appreciated! Would you please post some pics of his scar from that day. Thanks in advance!
  22. Hey guys, updated my weblog. http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/journal.asp?CopyID=2318&WebID=983
  23. Kelo-Cote Gel or Spraygel. Have a look at their website (http://www.kelocote.com). I'll use it to soften my scar after the sutures have been removed. It's quite expensive. I paid 90 Euros for 100ml Spray. Keep you updated.
