  1. Congratulations to all on a great result.
  2. If considering Hasson & Wong in Canada there are daily Air Canada flights from Sydney, Australia to Vancouver approx 15 hrs non stop.
  3. Thanks for sharing your HT experience in Australia. May I ask what was Dr Knudsen's assessment or comments on your HT with Dr Jennifer Martinick. Also what was the cost for your HT of 2500 grafts?
  4. Hey Tony I haven't had surgery yet but I am getting close to making a decision where/when etc. I look forward to seeing your progress & I hope you get a fantastic result. All the very best from a fellow Aussie. cheers Ray
  5. A great result with Dr Cooley. The stunning improvement in your hairline is unmistakable. Congratulations, you must be very pleased with the result. cheers Bosco
  6. Thanks Bill. I'm ready to go ahead with a procedure but can't decide which surgeon. I've basically narrowed it down to either one Australian doctor who does a max 2500 grafts, Dr Pathomvanich of Thailand & Dr Hasson or Dr Rahal of Canada. Any comments or advice most welcome.
  7. I am from Australia & would like to hear about the results and experiences from patients of Dr. Damkerng Pathomvanich of Thailand.

  9. Following up on post by propNE " 2000 grafts via fue???? and response by Dr.Feller. Dr Feller, re: your comment..."One more thing, getting FUE surgery now does NOT preclude a strip in the future if it is needed or visa versa." Would the large donor surface area used in FUE compromise the graft yield if strip was to be used later on? Would it be more prudent & ideal to have strip procedure(s) before FUE if a patient intends to use both methods?

  12. A great result. Congratulations all round. Ray Sydney, Australia
  13. Thanks for your input, it is really appreciated. Seems Australia doesn't really have a great choice of H.T doctors. Dr Damkerng Pathomvanich is now on my radar and I will seek further info on his services. Keep us posted on your H.T journey. Wishing you all the best & thanks again for your help. I welcome any further advice or information you would like to share. Ray Sydney, Australia
  14. Thanks for your advice. Dr Damkerng Pathomvanich was one of the docs I was considering. It's a pity no local docs have a high profile. Also, Aussie docs don't seem to offer many grafts per procedure. The weak Aussie dollar is killing us with a procedure in the U.S or Canada costing about 40 percent more when travel & accommodation is factored in as well. Keep us posted withyou H.T journey. All the best Ray
  15. Hey guys hope you can help me. I am a 47 year old male with hair loss & thinning hair & live in Sydney, Australia. I am seeking about 4000 to 5000 grafts (subject to my donor region) with 2 procedures in the next year or two. Can you recommend a doctor/clinic either within Australia, Asia or Canada/U.S.A ? The doctors in Australia do not offer " high graft " procedures & their reputations are either not very good or unknown. Local doctors including Dr Ray Woods from Sydney, Australia seem to be extremely expensive compared to other doctors worldwide. I would be prepared to fly overseas for my procedures. I think my post will be of interest to many H.T candidates outside the U.S.A & Canada. Cheers Ray Sydney, Australia

  19. Good luck with your HT. How was your consutation? Are you getting hairline restoration only (no crown)? How many grafts for your hairline?
  20. May I ask who the doc was? I am not being critical. I see your point. For a layman like myself it is difficult to understand what criteria docs use to determine the quantity of grafts for a 1st time HT on a mature advanced balding patient...especially when scalp laxity & finance are not limiting factors. Any comments welcome.
  21. Hello world! I live in Sydney (40 years old)& am classed as a norwood 4. I am looking at getting a HT in Sydney but don't know where to start! I have read varying reports ( thanks to your website) about Dr Knudsen, Dr Martinick & Dr Woods. I was told to stay away from Dr Barry White of NHI. I am genuine & am not here to discredit anyone. I just seek to get the very best HT that is available in Australia. Can you give me your opinion or any information at all that may help me make a decision in choosing my doctor in Oz. Sorry for all the questions but I really am desperate for info. As you know it is a big step. Cheers & thanks for your very helpful website... Bosco
