  1. If everyone had just concentrated on answering his questions instead of making this into another fut vs fue thread, there would of been no controversy.

I thought he made it quite clear in his original post that he only wanted fue.

sam1870, what I think you should do is do a lot of research on this forum and other forums and use internet search engines, and then ask people what they think of specific fue performing Dr's.

I will always be happy to give you my honest opinion.

  2. I'm suprised that Dr Feriduni is able to use Acell on anyone as it is only licensed to be used on animals in Europe, which means there is probably a lot of pets running around with bad HT scars! :)

But seriously, find out if you have signed something stating that you can't talk about this before you delete it, as it is a helpful thread.

  3. Dr. Hitzig didn't do you any favour's there, I wouldn't consult with any Dr's who use Acell at all, as it always seems to cause carnage!

True and Dorin are good, they produce very fine scars. Could also consult with Umar, he could make a big difference to your situation.

It is not irreparable, but just steer clear of Acell from now on.

    Regards

  4. Maybe they have enough business to keep them ticking over and are content with the forums that currently recommend them. Really one would have to ask them to find this out.

They are many clinics worldwide that aren't recommended here that do produce good results.

I also blame Brad Pitt aswell as Tom Cruise!

  5. Agreed with Spex and Mick, quite a thin donor. Definitely wouldn't do strip, can't imagine how long you would have to have your hair to cover even the thinnest of scars.

Good thing that you did your research and didn't have a strip from Ziering, the fact they they recommended that is bizarre, well they get a load of money from it.

As you have progressed to this stage of hairloss, it won't hurt to spend a lot more time researching this before you do anything. Propecia and Regaine would be a good idea for now though.

  6. I had some bad strip HT's and had to get FUE into the scar, so my point of view regarding strip is somewhat jaded. That being said, even with the possibility of getting more yeild from strip, I would still advise to try FUE first. You can always ask the Dr to leave a 'strip' area alone and harvest FUE outside this area, so then the FUE that had been taken before wouldn't affect the strip density.

Like you say if you don't get what you want from FUE in a few surgeries, you can shave down pretty short without signs of surgery.

If FUE had been available when I first made the mistake of having an HT, my head would be in better condition than it is now.

    Where are you based?

  7. That slight gradient, is very important.

I had, had some bad HT work in the UK prior to this. Dr Bisanga had to remove a few hundred grafts from my hairline 14 months before this picture. These were relocated to the scar at the back. I returned 6 months after this to have the hairline re-grafted.

You are in the fortunate position where, you have a 'Virgin' scalp, so you would end up with a better result than me.
