  1. Thanks, Bob and Nobuzz. Bob, I didn't intend to hijack your thread, just to show how awesome Dr. Hasson is in the temple region. When I tell people that the temples were rebuilt about 2 inches back, they cannot believe it. He has a way of making it look so soft that it blends in really nicely and unnoticeable. One word of caution: Like the hairline, the temples take a LOT of time to really soften up. Once they start growing out -- say at 6 months -- give them at least another year to soften up and really look their most natural.
  2. Actually, Bobman, my temples were shot to hell. While I had some bizarre configuration of "points," the upper regions of my temples were as dead as Elvis. Dr. Hasson rebuilt my temples from scratch in the first HT, and touched it up in the second. Here are the before and after shots:
  3. Nice results, Bill. Glad you put in the most recent updates. I believe the most subtle changes occur after 8 months, up to 2 years. Particularly for fair-skinned, coarse/dark-haired guys like us, this is a significant period for the hairline. Congrats!
  4. Bob, congrats on your new temle points!!!!! Dr. Hasson knows his way around temples -- I know first hand. I'm not even going to wish you goo dluck, because you don't really need luck here -- just good patience. Man, I really can't wait to see the final results.
  5. Bill, you are looking awesome. Thanks for the great and honest pics. (Why not show honest pics with work like yours?) Too bad BHT doesn't seem to work much, because you have about 35k grafts of donor chest hair.
  6. Hi, Scooter. I just did a search for Dr. McClellan, and these results. (You can just use the "find" feature and get the same.) I have yet to see a single poster who shows pictures of his work, but I did see one poster dissatisfied with his hairline work. Pat seems to have heard very good things about him.
  7. Untruths aside, can you just vomit at that tacky presentation?
  8. FINALLY someone got it right! Even RTC missed that one. And you were right about the others, as well.
  9. You score a 0%. I think detention is in order.
  10. LOL, Hairbank. I love ya, bro, but I'm sorry to say you scored 22% (2 right out of 9)!!!
  11. Yeah, yeah . . . I dunno . . . perhaps we aught to invite you to the 2015 bbq? That should be sufficient notice for the Great Billoni. And by that time we'll really get to see whose HT held up over time! Speaking of pictures, and since you're the great HT guru, would you care to identify the hairlines in the picture? (Let's see what you're really made of . . . .)
  12. Thanks, Hairbank. The rug was mine!!!! (good riddance)
  13. Well, it was a blast! RTC and Mrs. RTC were wonderful hosts, and the dog behaved quite nicely. The food was super and the company better: We all got to see some live HT updates. Riley is now around 7 months out of Dr. Feller. His work looks really nice, but he's not done yet IMO. Excellent density, and more thickening yet to come: Deadhead is only 7 days out of his second Dr. Hasson surgery, but already has amazing results. Fastest growth I've ever seen: And then there was a special rug-burning ceremony which touched us all, particularly yours truly. Fifteen years of torture up in flames: There was a special dessNapoleonlian cake. Can you name those hairlines? RTC was king of that event. He was able to pick out all but one hairline: In case you have trouble reading the cake, can you name the hairlines below? NO CHEATING!!! Additional notes: Wishbald: At around 4 months he is now just beginning to burst out. Can't wait to see him in another 2 or 3 months. Hair4good: Unbelievably natural and impressively dense results. After we all left, he caught Mark and me driving on the Grand Central Parkway with the top down and hair flying all over the place. Mark: What a story! After 7 surgeries (no, that was no typo, I meant s-e-v-e-n) he went to Dr. Feller for #8. Really nice results, particularly considering what he's been through. Last, but not least, RTC: Still the #1 most natural HT I've ever seen. And the swirly-dog master!
  14. No one has really mentioned the temple points. RawDog's are totally demolished and would need to be completely rebuilt -- and that takes a lot of grafts. RawDog, one of the main reasons I went to Dr. Hasson is that I consider his hairlines to be the best in the world (and Dr. Wong's are right up there with him). Don't be fooled by fake photos and fancy styles. Look closely at Armani's website -- you will not find too many close-up pictures of actual hairlines. The few that do reveal hairline will have the hair brushed to the side or forward, covering what you really want to see -- is the line itself soft and natural looking? I can totally see you getting a HT. You've got great donor (lol!), and will probably retain most of it forever. You will look younger and more "balanced." And no more scar to worry about. By the way, are you taking meds at all?
  15. lol! And I think Hairtech is an artist in the bovine refuse industry.
  16. LOL I don't log on for a few days and miss all the GD fun! Brilliant line, B-Spot.
  17. Haha, you pumped gas, eh? Bushy, HSD (High School Diploma)
  18. LOL! I posted this in another thread, but it fits here even better: Hairtech, it is entirely misleading to sign your name "Thomas Ortiz, BS," unless you mean Bull S---. Bachelor of Science is not a degree of distinction used as part of one's signature. I also think that putting "James Harris, MD" in your signature is kind of strange. (Notice you didn't write "hair technologist to Dr. Harris." Would that sound too subservient and secondary in nature?) And WTF is a "hair technologist?" I just Googled the term and, wouldn't you know it -- the first 2 (of 29) total hits were your own self-promoting topics! The rest were hair stylists who, like you, made up that term to sound sophisticated. Reminds me of Jackie Mason's line about a truck drivers calling himself a "controller in the trucking industry." Bill, B-spot and others are highly regarded in this community. Please don't come on here and arrogantly belittle them or others. You are doing Dr. Harris no favor. Since Pat has looser posting rules here than they have at some other sites, he may not ban you as you have been from another major site. But, please, behave yourself.

  20. Thanks. I guess I wasn't clear reading that the first time around that you were referring to the region I mentioned. And, as you said, maybe the good doc himself can "chime in and speak to this." To my eyes, Dr. Feller can clearly place hairline grafts far better than those Bernstein singles, so why not rebuild that area as well?
  21. Good thinking, Bill. You seem to have coarser hair, just as I do. And it may take some time to soften up. Perhaps my own attached comparison will foretell the kind of softening you have yet to experience.
  22. Hair2stay, thanks for your excellent documentation and for keeping us updated. I have a question for you, Dr. Feller or Spex (if he is familiar with your case): In the first picture you posted, i see some frontal single hairs which, while not "pluggy" (because they are singles) do not look that impressive because they are spread too far apart. Yet, Dr. Feller seemed to have worked *behind* these singles and not amidst them. I would have thought that he would have filled in that area, too, to enhance that frontal zone. Am I seeing this incorrectly? Either way, good luck with your results! And please keep updating us, particularly once you start seeing growth.
  23. Hey, looks like I'll the graft kind at 7,600. Bill, don't be a lazy ass -- come out, we all want to meet the Legend. B-Spot: Once you take the bar, things get worse, not better! Make it your business to attend!
  24. Bill, the last month has made a HUGE difference. You are well on the way to some super duper density. And remember that aside from increased density, one of the most important differences the next 4-6 months will bring is the softening of the hair, and the hairline. So whatever you see today will only improve (and it's already awesome)!
