  1. Here’s the thing Gary…there are many of the U.S. based surgeons that you mentioned who were and are still known for their exceptional FUHT work and so they had very little incentive to learn FUE especially when the extraction aspect of FUE was SO tedious and time consuming and because the techs were willing to do the extractions…IMHO, none of the U.S. doctors that you mentioned are known for or should I say have their long term reputations founded on performing FUE as compared to many others worldwide and why are you placing so much emphasis on pricing?…first and foremost I want to encourage you to base your search and final decision on who is known for performing top notch FUE work…because in the end, I want you to be happy with the final result my friend.

  2. Berba11 said it all well!…You had this done at “Sparkle Cosmetic clinic”?!…you’re kidding right?…really?!…once again, the photos tell the whole story…the photo of your donor post-op is one of the worst I have seen and IMHO, looks more like a battlefield that several techs or doctors were learning extractions as newbies…and the hairline work especially the design again shows someone with very little to no experience or skill, the descending graft placement makes little sense as Berba pointed out…and my premonition is that a much lower negotiated price was the driving factor in your decision to choose “Sparkle Cosmetics”…and then you are surprised with the lack of growth?…really?…and if you are willing to resort to a wig, why would you waste your money and your lost donor to an unproven cosmetics company?😳🫨🙄

  3. My premonition is that positive changes in hair shaft diameter are taking place as the hair grows…and we know that improved caliber produces a higher level of visual coverage…in addition, it seems that BH can in fact “thrive” when moved to the scalp environment….I have observed similar growth with BH in AI’s (Be Happy) results…KUDOS brothers!…it gives other repair patients HOPE!

  4. Let me begin by saying that I have never heard of this doctor nor the clinic that was mentioned, and who knows for sure which individuals were involved in this procedure…over the past 5 decades I have seen literally thousands of photos to date and it is SO OBVIOUS that this procedure was performed by a newbie learning FUE and that you undoubtedly were a victim of extremely high levels of transection also involving techs with very poor extraction skills and no experience (newbies) damaging the grafts and as Gats stated, probably left out and not implanted immediately thereby making the grafts subject to acute ischemia reprofusion (deterioration) and so the corresponding yield was so negligible that whatever money was paid was a total loss…when this type of thing happens, it is usually a result of the patient negotiating the cheapest possible price and oftentimes they end up a Guinea subject, for a newbie learning FUE and has little to no experience nor any skill…IMHO, the photos tell the story, “You get what you pay for”

  5. eze…with FUE, finding 400 single hair grafts will be easy to find because most of us have hundreds of singles in our donor zones…IMHO, it is more ideal or more favorable to “not” cut up multi hair bearing FUs unless it’s really necessary…that was more prevalent when FUT was the method of harvest and having a strip to dissect versus with FUE, the singles can be cherry picked one at a time.

  6. WOW!!!…you know, this is a huge part of why I have so much respect for the great Gatsby!…an honest man and every word you said brother was truthful…I thought that we were not allowed to mention Dr. Wds name in this community…he is indeed the grandfather of FUE worldwide….several decades ago he told me that his fees for FUE surgery were that high because he does 100% of the procedure himself including all placement of grafts…he said he rarely does more than approximately 300 grafts per day because of how labor intensive the procedure is….I wonder if Dr. Wds concluded that his proprietary information was at risk?…it must have been a quick lunch!

  7. It was Dr. Jones in Toronto and I believe he was the first surgeon in North America to perform FUE…Dr. Feller subsequently fulfilled an apprenticeship under Dr. Jones….Dr. C*le “observed” FUE under the so-called “grandfather of FUE” who’s clinic is based in Australia…In my honest opinion I personally believe that more surgeons would have been willing to apprentice under the surgeon in Australia however I heard he wanted an advance upfront fee of $100,000 paid in full…I was told that a number of times and I was VP of Operations of Dr. C*les clinic including international management of the Cypress clinic…Dr. C*le subsequently decided to market his own variation of FUE as an attempt to set himself apart from other FUE practitioners worldwide, especially in America…but let’s face it, FUE and the other marketed labels are simply “isolated extraction techniques or methods” of harvesting hair for the purpose of transplantation…finally, what many people are not aware of is that Dr. Paul Rose of Tampa made significant clinical contributions in FUE instrumentation and was the surgeon who developed and refined many of the punches incorporating “dermal depth analysis” to greatly minimize transection rates of FUE…Dr. Rose also worked at Dr. C*les clinic when I worked there and he did outstanding work…keep in mind that 99.99% of HT procedures at that time were still FUHT as FUE was in its infancy in America.🇺🇸

I applied the lotion on the ninth day at the end of the healing process (but not completely) I still had crusts Is it possible that I did not damage (burn) the grafts and everything is Ok? there was no bleeding

No worries, you are fine…some of the crusts become very hard when they dry out and I find that it’s best to first soak your scalp in the shower with water and shampoo suds, wait approximately 10 minutes and then remove the crusts.

  9. It’s always very important to wait until the scalp is completely healed before applying anything…most clinics advise their patients to remove the crusts after approximately 10-12 days…and then a lotion enriched with aloe vera is all that’s needed to soothe the scalp and facilitate complete healing of the epidermis.

  10. Each and every clinic will have the proper equipment (including scopes) to perform and provide a microscopic examination of your scalp…if they tell you that they do not provide this, definitely move on to someone else…if it were me, I would insist on this being performed and included in my in-person consultation…the only variable is that some doctors/clinics may want to charge a separate fee for this microscopic examination.
