  1. I will continue posting as weeks go by. I also want to write a much clearer and the amazing experience i had with Gabel.
  2. Here are some pictures after 5 weeks post fue so i'm now shedding quite a bit. Procedure was done by Dr. Steven Gabel. To fill in sides and temples from an early procedure where the sides never were as dense / filled as i had hoped. Pictures from 3rd day post fue & 5 weeks i will be posting pictures from his office shortly and telling what my expierence was like. Of course i'm curious about comments. 1,700 grafts - fill in sides / temples
  3. any other opinions on Xyon shampoo? or topical dutasteride vs finasteride
  4. is there a particular ketoconazol shampoo you recommend and dosage for Vitamin d - i've read so many different things
  5. So would you recommend waiting as long as 3 months? or do you think 6 weeks or 8 weeks is long enough?
  6. i want to say thank you for all the responses. For some reason i didn't see them until now. I agree with the laser caps. It is very expensive especially after paying for the hair transplant. But it is a one time buy so it's hard to argue about the investment. I actually have an I-restore one from some time ago. But that is on the low end of laser caps. Thanks for the comment about vitamins vs using something like topical finasteride / minoxidil. I've been spending ridiculous amounts of time looking through article after article about which vitamin is best. By the time i've completed my "research" i find myself with a ridiculous list of 7 different vitamins. So i just started topical finasteride / minoxidil. But now i see that people are now using topical dutasteride instead. Thanks for the recommendation of ketoconazol shampoo. That was another thing i was confused about. I was actually debating if it's worth spending the money on something like Grow Md which seemed suspect. I actually had no knowledge about mesotherapy and regen therapy. To be honest i almost find the post fue little things more mentally confusing than the actual surgery.
  7. Thank you for your answers. I will definitely hold out longer than 4 weeks. 3 months will be tough but I hope my vanity can make it that long. It's obviously worth it the long run. It's amazing how many simple questions i find myself having post fue and how difficult it is not to question each one. For example i would never go in the sun without wearing a hat. Even for a minute. But then i wonder is it safe to put sun screen on one's head - with a hat just to be extra safe. Since i play tennis. I actually would prefer to wear sunscreen under my hat. But i'm terrified of even doing that. Which sun screen? it never ends ..... thank you
  8. I've read many different things when it's safe to dye your hair post fue from 4 weeks to three months. Once again i am curious what people recommend from there expeirences. My surgeon said 4 weeks. But i still like to hear other peoples opinions. thanks again, James O
  9. I'm curious what people think about using topical finasteride / minoxidil post fue. I would imagine it's safe to use on the donor area. But what about the recipient area? I'm now 3.5 weeks post surgery. I've read different things that it is actually helpful on the Recipient Area. So any opinions would be very much appreciated. I was finally happy to get a prescription to a compound pharmacy for Topical Finasteride / Minoxidil but now i see that there is a Topical Dutasride that is now being used a lot. I suppose that is a discussion for another day. Thanks, James O I will be posting photos shortly.
  10. I have very little knowledge when it comes to laser caps.. The one that was recommended to me by my doctor was lasercap - but it's quite expensive. The lowest price is 1,200 with 80 Laser diodes but the ones that were recommeded were the ones with 224 Or 304. I just wanted to know if one is going to invest in a laser cap is the one that truly has results. There are quite a few other ones that aren't as expensive. But I'm curious if they are as effective. Going by amazon reviews I don't think or know if that is always the best. Thank you. James O
