  1. Thanks for sharing this. I was going to do blood tests in my home country before travelling but it cost alot more. I'll be saving having them done in India.
  2. Your density looks quite similar to mine. I've rescheduled my procedure with Eugenix to July 2024.
  3. That's interesting and quite sobering. The only alternative looking term strategy is to factor in touch up surgery or not get surgery, at all it seems.
  4. I would imagine as a general rule of time, when dealing with natural remedies, the results may not be as great, and may take longer to achieve but nonetheless on the whole, the side effects may be significantly less than the medical interventions. I booked in for Eugenix in India in July and looking forward to the journey. What was once a dream for almost 20 years is now becoming reality.
  5. I've taken Saw Palmetto for the past number of weeks and I'm noticing quite severe constipation and flatulence over the past week. My diet hasn't changed in that time other than the introduction of Saw Palmetto. I'm going to stop taking it to see if the symptoms improve.
  6. Thanks very much for that information, yes I was told that Soya is a bit dodgy in large amounts. I've discovered this information below which appears to be quite interesting in terms of natural DHT blockers as well as other remedies: https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/getting-root-hair-loss It also suggests that topical rosemary oil may be an alternative to minoxidil.
  7. Thanks very much indeed for that in-depth response. There is a lot of food for thought there. In terms of soya, I've heard that this can also lead to a potential reduction in male pattern baldness. I welcome your thoughts on this.
  8. You've influenced this Cork man who has booked his procedure for this July
  9. Thanks again for sharing your research. One question: Would other herbal interventions, taken with Saw Palmetto, increase the effectiveness of stopping male pattern baldness? For example, Saw Palmetto with: ➤Stinging nettle (you outlined this) ➤Pumpkin Seed Oil ➤MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) ➤Zinc ➤D3 ➤B Complex There are natural supplements that combine all, or some of the above e.g. ➣Life Extension Prostate (North American based) ➣Wellman prostate (UK and Ireland based)
  10. Excellent, I have Dr. Das undertaking the planning, designing and the crucial frontal slits with Dr. Somesh leading the rest of the procedure.
  11. I had a consultation with the medical team at Eugenix on Monday. I outlined that I didn't wish to use finasteride given past side affects. They stated the result may only last a few years if the baldness continued but didn't object to my strategy of returning for top up surgery. I'm booked in for this July. Flight ticket purchased yesterday. Slightly apprehensive but ready to take the plunge.
  12. I'm drinking the stinging nettle tea at work but will purchase for home use also. I'm taking 350mg Saw Palmetto daily. Should be increasing this?
  13. I thought I was a 6 but was told by Eugenix yesterday that's it a Norwood grade 4
  14. Yes the research is limited but here's one piece that shows it does reduce hair loss: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4847595/ Cited here: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/saw-palmetto-benefits#1.-May-prevent-hair-loss
  15. That's interesting. It seems Finasteride doesn't last forever.
  16. I'm also planning to not take meds as I've had side effects too. I've been told that the result may not be good or indeed, may not last. Your result is inspiring however. My assumption is that I will have sufficient donor hair into the future to supplement any future hair loss post transplant. I was told this strategy would not be wise. Did the team give you the same advice prior to undertaking the procedure? What is your strategy for any future hair loss?
  17. I have no advice on the styling in given that I've been with the Norwood grade six bald headed community for the past 20 years. However, what I can comment on is your latest photos which are absolutely fantastic and further pushing me towards Eugenix. I'm tentatively aiming for this summer.
  18. According to Healthline Online, it states that Saw Palmetto can indeed prevent hair loss: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/saw-palmetto-benefits#1.-May-prevent-hair-loss
