I got a blood test about two months ago and requested that my DHT level be checked. My general practitioner stated she was unsure if I could get that test but a testosterone test was available. She highlighted her concerns about reducing testosterone. I've been taking 350mg Saw Palmetto for the past few weeks (albeit irregularly). I'm not sure if the testosterone levels are irrelevant?

Absolutely incredible result. Eugenix is on my short list. I'm open to correction but there doesn't seem to be any other clinic that provides such results for the higher Norwood scales. I'm a Norwood 6 presently and in my mid forties.

To add to that, I've been informed by a hair transplant clinic that "You will also require finasteride for the preservation of your pre-existing hair. Finasteride is a medication that will completely stop baldness from progressing. It is a Dihydrotestosterone inhibitor. Duration of post-transplant Finasteride: lifelong (but we can take breaks of 2 to 3 months in between). The dosage can be revised periodically. The progress in the mid scalp and crown can be assessed with Finasteride for 1 year further the medication will help in increasing the density in those areas. For Androgenetic Alopecia, it progresses with the following acceleration in different age groups 20s to 30s: very aggressively 30s to 40s: slows down 40s onward: starts stabilizing Side effects: The Dose of 1mg daily is approved by USFDA and side effects are rare. What if you don't take Finasteride after transplant? The transplanted hair will grow normally. However, there may be some damage/acceleration of hair loss of the pre-existing native hair due to competition in blood supply. I received the information via WhatsApp from Eugenix and therefore have no spec.

I didn't see the results of the said doctors. Perhaps they'll be published by patients on this forum as time progresses.

So in essence, patients should equally be focusing on the experience of the technicians.

No I didn't see the results. I believe the quality is still kept to Eugenix standards. It's just that one is paying the discount for the lower experience.

I've been reflecting on your scientific results and it seems to be an excellent tentative piece of research. It seems there's not a lot of research or data about Saw Palmetto as an alternative to finasteride in hair preservation.

It seems that Doctor Dass has been promoted to the "Eugenix Premium Package" upon which I was quoted a price of 210 Indian rupees +80% tax per graft.

but can it be used as a filler?
