A 27 years gentleman came for a hair transplant and before visiting my clinic , he got 12 PRP sessions with oral medicines. When I examined his scalp donor area, inadequate or poor density and beard also does not have good density. So I proposed six sessions of microneedling with high concentration of Redensyl and Saw Palmetto. I am sharing before and 24 days later improvement. There is an increase in diameter and length as well. I am sure with more sessions in the future, there will be more improvement. Micro needling is used with A 6 model and 0.5 mm size is used and there were 36 Nano needles in it. The purpose is to make tiny pores / punctures so that topical serum can be penetrated easily. Serum contains Redensyl and Saw Palmetto and some other ingredients.

Severe hair loss when you have hair falls 100 to 150 per day. Your condition is hair thinning. If you want to go for a hair transplant , 2500 to 3000 grafts will be enough to give you a reasonable density. You can also measure your hair loss area in centimeters then multiply it with 30 to 40 or 45 follicles per sq.centimeter. This way you will get a total number of grafts. There are online grafts calculators and you can also get the idea. Did you consider if after hair transplant , your existing hair shed more or you have further thinning in future?

Yes your hair started miniaturization. You should get basic investigation to rule out other causes of hair loss before labelling it as DHT induce miniaturization. For example Vitamin D 3 , Zinc, Iron, thyroid and investigations. If Lab reports are clear the next step would be fin & Min.

Definitely it is a hair transplant , lower hairline, unnatural and detectable. For a few years, he enjoyed it but as aging, wrinkles on forehead and face, lower hairline of early age start looking ugly or cosmetically unacceptable.

Hi, I believe medicine and treatment will work in your case. I am putting before and after images of one of my patients and he got only one micro needling treatment and home use of topical serum / spray. This home use spray is once per 24 hours to massage on the scalp.

Hi, yes there are very effective treatments which can start to regrow in 30 to 40 days time. However such regrowth is visible through the camera and the naked eye may see 70 days later. If you continue to use your current product, your fine hair will convert into terminal hair. I perform a micro needle to my patients once per month and give them a topical spray containing Redensyl and Capixyl and almost every patient starts to grow. however, Where no hair and complete baldness, less chances of growth. After Six months of treatments, I usually ask my patients to use three times per week this topical lotion containing Redensyl and Capixyl . You can see improvements. There is no surprise to take Aspirin after a hair transplant. Normally the first wash is 24 to 72 so if healing is proper especially after DHI or FUE, this tablet increases the blood circulation. Usually hair transplant surgeons prescribe it where dense packing procedure is performed or patient has less vascularity. Iff some hair transplant surgeon has experience to increase more vascular supply after the procedure, there should be no surprise. As far as blood thinner prolonged healing or as you mentioned blood clotting, It is my personal experience as well, healing is almost complete in 24 to 48 hours after DHI or follicular unit extraction with punch size 0.8 mm or less in size.

Yes, it is possible without any noticeable scars in the beard area if the surgeon used 0.7 mm or less than this size punch. Second important factor is the color of the skin. Fair color complexion has less chances of scars formation. Sometimes if the color of the skin is dark, brown or tan ,even a small size of punch can give white dots / hypopigmentation.

Hi, these grafts were Reimplanted to the central tuft area. No, the above extraction in the repair case was performed in a single procedure. Both right and left side grafts were extracted and re implanted in the central tuft area in the same procedure.

Hi, frankly speaking, you do not need any hair transplant. Fin and Minoxidil tablets did wonderful and you got the same results as in hair transplant surgery. Do you have any plan to skip Fin or min and take three times per week instead of daily?

Hi, you need a total of 2 to 3 procedures to cover your baldness. First session you can go for 2400 to 2800 grafts. Save the donor area for future procedures a few years later. For the second procedure you probably need a scalp plus beard donor area. This second procedure will cover the remaining baldness which you will have a few years later. First procedure will change your look and personality. Topical Fin and minoxidil should be routine.

Hi, at the moment it is not possible to get full hair regrowth in one month. However, a few years ago, most medicines took 90 days for reasonable results. But now due to advancement in the medicines and treatment options, one can see some percentage of improvement in 30 days. I am sharing here a patient who got 2 hair transplant procedures 10 years ago from some clinic. Ten years later, his transplanted hair became sparse / thin or less in density, adding more baldness in the crown area. He started Fin but has side effects. I gave him beard hair for a head hair transplant option but he did not accept it. I tried a combination of treatments simultaneously and one can see some progress in 30 days.

Definitely you selected the doctor after seeing results and following him. I hope the end results will be great. At the end of the 5th month, one should expect only 30% results. But I can assess after seeing your post op photo, your frontalline density will be good and the mid scalp area would be less dense and the scalp would be visible. Hope for the best as the doctor is experienced and talented.
