  1. Best of luck with it man! I’m sure you’ll be delighted with it when it’s touched up.
  2. Totally agree, it’s absolutely noticeable at even a slight glance. It’s an obvious blunder and shouldn’t be anywhere near hair transplant of the year. Completely different to the right. all other aspects are spot on and looks pretty damn good.
  3. That’s right, from the centre tip of the hairline it is approx 1cm. The aim of my repair in April will be looking at removing majority of this. Agreed and I pointed out this was specifically communicated to the doctor and the Eugenix team in the pre assessment videos and in the pre assessment prior to surgery. It’s even in my comments I wrote to the clinic, in black and white. I quote myself in saying this on the day of the surgery, “the hairline is not be lowered whatsoever, any multi haired grafts in the hairline are to be taken out”. This was quite obvious to me the moment I looked in the mirror… fuming is understatement. So in that respect, it is a big change to a hairline that was already a bit too low. Just so lazy and complete disrespect. Some guy called Om was pestering me constantly for a video of “how great Eugenix were” and “how he was confident this would be one of the best cases” needless to say I declined. I don’t buy into that bs. Im here to get my repair and right after it I have alarm bells, don’t annoy me about videos.
  4. I don’t believe I shared them but this is what I have to hand, just of the receding hairline. Photos are from around summer 2016.
  5. I would say though, that the amount work now required to repair this is huge. Eugenix, have no doubt made this much worse and far more complicated. It’s brutally poor. Far worse than I initially thought now that things have completely settled. It’s butchery, simple as.
  6. Thanks Cory, I appreciate that. Means a lot man!
  7. No doubt it’s a heck of transformation. Delighted to see results like this. Patient happiness is everything.
  8. Unfortunately, he got this one wrong. It was very evident at the time too.
  9. Mate, all I can say is that this is not natural. why were softer hairs not used here… there is no doubt at this angle this appears pluggy. Front on view which to me, immediately catches my eye that something is off.
  10. Photos are taken by Dr Cooley himself. Same room, but cannot say the same camera. No flash photography. PRE EXOSOME. Photo in Sep 2019 POST EXOSOME. Photo in May 2022. Like for like photos, results are pretty incredible if you ask me.
  11. There are countless photos, before and after by top surgeons/doctors to show that Exosome treatment works. I had Exosome with Dr Cooley, twice at his clinic in NC, Sep-2019 and May-2022. Dr Cooley would not administer if he did not see results, simple as. I would trust him far more than anyone with no medical background on this forum. A guy who runs an ethical practice and lets his results speak for themselves. Of course results are not permanent, it was a single treatment, $2000. I’ll have look for pre and post photos.
  12. There is no way, anyone who Is experienced in the hair transplant industry would be happy to have this result for their first hair transplant. Especially a 26 old, having a result like this. Below photo is probably in or around the standard that should be expected. Just oozes class, CARE and ATTENTION. There is absolutely no comparison to the difference in quality.
  13. Defintely not good or “great” in my opinion. The term “great” really is thrown around on this platform, my god. Not a natural hairline and for those who don’t know, flash photography is used by Eugenix. I would love to see photos under normal lighting conditions and during daylight. How can the hairline appear more dense as it starts to blend with the recess? It ain’t natural as the more its extends to meet the recess the more pluggy the hairline gets and actually lower….. Isn’t the Eugenix catch phrase “do it once, do it right” ??.. pretty sure the top doctors worldwide would not produce results like that. Having said that the temple peaks look good.
  14. Really poor planning. It’s inexcusable that with your hair colour and naturally fine hair that the hairline would be lowered as much. In your case to lower your hairline 1cm it could be damn near 800-1000grafts. I am shocked that none of the so called experienced guys here are saying that the grafts are even placed on the vertical plane of your scalp. Well before the curvature of your forehead. Mind boggling… Doctors should show intuition in all hair transplant cases, this copy and paste approach does not work. My advice is to look for a doctor who is happy to raise your hairline by 1cm. It may be a little over the top to some but you have clear signs of aggressive hairloss. Hope you can find the right solution.
  15. Yeah pretty much everything that has been done in this repair is awful/terrible. I did make reference to many of the Eugenix and Dr Arikas videos regarding repairs earlier in the thread, which was refreshing during my review. Unfortunately, it fell well short with me. People if this forum should say it exactly how it is, just like you’ve done. They are quick to throw around “great” results when they like but they should be equally as quick to state what is not acceptable. They are very quick to do so for the not so popular doctors when they have a bad procedure. Responses like “repairs are not easy”, yeah we get it, but that doesn’t make this acceptable or any easier. This was by no means one of the most difficult repairs, but believe me, it’s far more difficult to repair now. Unfortunately, there is no accountability in this industry. I done my research, in the doctor and the clinic. By all accounts, it was up there. Something in my research that was not apparent was the mass scaling that they are performing hair transplants. Dr Arika running from surgical room to surgical room, barely enough time to assess the case in person, exhausted mentally and physically, can only lead to results like this. And believe me, I am quite happy to have people commenting away on this thread, at least it will mean more and more people will be aware.
  16. Cheers! Truth be told I was talking with the team for some time. Around 6 months after my repair, which was July 2022 + 6months, as I knew it had gone pear shaped at this point.
  17. 800 beard grafts were placed to the donor area. They were placed by senior doctors. turned out okay apart from the cluster planted together…. Quite a few grafts placed on wrong direction but it is an improvement.
  18. Yes okay but it was also clear at that time it was not shock loss. Anyone who would suggest otherwise would be looking at it with a side of bias.
  19. So something that I didn’t highlight previously was the folliculitis at around the 4month mark post repair by Eugenix. I wanted to see what developed here and now with my hair cut short there is clearly a large cluster of hairs (beard grafts) that have been transplanted to that localized area hence the reason for the folliculitis which lasted around 8weeks. Anyway to present day, fact it just looks awful. For those interested just uploaded some extra photos of how this repair turned out. Generally speaking, I am the patient here, and do I feel more confident about my hair around 16 months after this 1st repair, absolutely not. You can clearly see the photos zoomed in from a distance show serious issues are still present. Which I identified all to Dr Arika….it fell on deaf ears. There is absolutely no way I expected everything to be corrected in one sitting, but the fact is so clear, NOTHING was corrected. For a clinic and a doctor that is well represented on this forum and elsewhere to produce a repair like this for almost €8000 is absolutely unbelievable. I speak from my own personal experience and there is a serious lack of ethical morals with this clinic.
  20. Now this is a “great” result. Dr Cooley just oozes class! He upholds the highest ethical standards and the man is just gifted with planning & execution. Too often the word “great” is thrown around this forum for “good” results. FairPlay and a fantastic choice! 👍🏼
  21. Final update: 14months post repair by Eugenix. At this point the photos say more than I ever could. Good variety of lighting and wet hair and all taken this week. I will let you all know about my repair in April-24, looking forward to it big time. Cheers.
  22. Certainly in this thread there are some users who have tried to come up with some excuses or rather explanations for this poor repair when in reality it’s just been poor from the clinic and doctor themselves, but in general I don’t think these people are biased towards any clinic and they were genuinely trying to be optimistic. They provide excellent information for us all on this forum and it’s certainly highly valued/respected by a lot. The reality is they produce a lot more positive good results than poor results. This is why I choose them. Unfortunately, not in my case and this should be accepted by the clinic and the doctor.
