Just my 2 cents I have gone through such horrible loss in my life several times, when I was in my late teens I was suicidal because I couldn’t bear the overwhelming loss. I am a Muslim and in Islam it is forbidden to commit suicide so I couldn’t go through with it, I became religious and the realisation that this world isn’t everything saved me, I started to feel better. When I look back on that time, few themes become apparent to me. I was highly irrational, emotional and in a panicked mind feeling like my world is over and things will not get better, it continued through weeks. I don’t even recall sex being on my mind at the time at all and I was a healthy teenager at the time. I have no doubt if not for Islam, I would’ve ended my life then because there was no other barrier to it and I felt hopeless. People who commit suicide don’t reach that point suddenly. In that horrible horrible state of mind, nobody feels horny or sexy, sorry to be blunt here but many people get ED while with a beautiful woman solely from performance anxiety, imagine someone in a bad state of mind panicked. I want to explain more but it feels vulgar, look it’s not a dead meat or mechanical machine, it’s directly connected to the brain and for pleasure. When you’re in agony, it’s not going to work. The thing with PFS is physically everything is OK with them but it’s the mind. Unfortunately, they DO experience it. You absolutely must go with the transplant because the surgeon you chose is great and you will not get appt so soon again. You will have to get a transplant in future anyway.

He thinks finasteride is an androgen “blocker” that should tell you why he’s so against it. It actually is a 55-70% enzyme blocker that stops T conversion to DHT. I know what you mean. I have spent the last few days searching results of different doctors that were recommended to me and the difference is marginal. Even Konior who is praised so much, I couldn’t find many recent results of his on this forum and the ones that are available seem similar to rest but he’s praised so much. Maybe there should be a thread where different doctors results are compared by someone who knows what is a good result and then judged that way 😁

Also fin only blocks type 2 of 5ar while the brain has type 1 endogenous that’s more important. Dutasteride blocks type 1 and 2 and it’s effects are more pronounced on neurosteroids as such. I learned a few things Doctor does the incisions, techs do the extraction and placement I have seen the videos, the doc isn’t in the room, probably hangs around for a few minutes then disappears No clue They don’t use microscopes so multi in hairline but I don’t really care about this They do get results/growth though so must be doing something right and not a trash crappy hairmill type of clinic.

If the grafts are damaged, it doesn’t matter if they’re inside the skin.

Sorry bud 😞 It does look like the grafts didn’t survive. Maybe it will improve and you’re slow grower but at this moment in time, this is how it looks like to me. Did the doctor himself perform the surgery or techs?

Nevermind I got the answer. They told me they don’t count the grafts and use the maximum number for best results. I don’t feel comfortable going to a clinic that I don’t even know how many grafts are going to be taken out of me. It is also tech driven clinic. Surprised their results come out so good though 🫤

Obviously minoxidil won’t continue to regrow hair. There’s a limit.
