That is possible, or it may have had an interaction with the blood pressure medication I take. A hair transplant surgeon seemed to think that might explain my negative experience with finasteride.

I stopped taking it after the second dose. I used the full recommend dose the first time I took it, and the next day I had irritability/ anxiety similar to when I took finasteride, but not as bad. Tried it again 2 weeks later with a much lower dose, but still had the same thing, though not as severe so I stopped.

That's what I want to know. And why do American doctors not do these mega sessions? The surgeons I've spoken to would just do the front, then come back at a later time if crown work is desired.

He doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to do, but if he does train them, it doesn't mean they're going to be as good as him.

Thanks for posting this. Your results look great. I too am a high norwood, and Dr. Pittella is one of the doctors I'm considering. I sent him photos, and this is the graft estimate he replied with: HT FUE in 2 Giga-sessions (4500+4000 grafts): -Objective: First surgery priority to front area, second surgery priority to crown. Beard or chest might also be necessary as source of grafts. -Number of sessions (days): TWO DAYS -Total number of grafts: 8500 -Total number of hair (estimate): 16850 to 20700 strands of hair
