kids shampoos are usually very gentle if formulated with the right ingredients. They are usually considered safe post-op, and are recommended by most HT clinics

Congratulations man. You have just avoided the possibility of getting botched in this infamous hair mill. Dr. Laorwong is a great HT trasnplant. Lokking forward to your journey

I think that his hairlines are anatomically a disaster. I can show hundreds of his works and show all his flaws.
Do show us please. I can't see what being "anatomically" a disaster in Dr.De Freitas case mean ..

The problem with Pekiner is he runs his clinic like a side hustle. He hardly works! It's very difficult getting a consultation with him! And I haven't seen results from him above Norwood 3. Also on two occasions reviewed here, he has stopped mid-surgery and told the patient "Sorry you are not a suitable candidate!" after having a consultation and after taking out several hundred grafts! Stop with this Pekiner...Pekiner...Pekiner! The guy is not serious!
What you said is true. Pekiner does seem to cherry pick his patientsn and it happened that many years back he stopped mi-surgery. I wasn't saying he is absolutely the best out there. All I was saying is that he's one of the few to consider in Turkey.

It could be retrograde alopecia. Do you have any thinning on top or at the crown ?
-
You had your surgery about a month ago with Dr. Bisanga. It's normal that it will look worse at this stage. It's too early to judge

In Turkey, the only good surgeons to consider are Pekiner and Kesser. If you live in Australia, you might want to consider Dr. Laorwong in Thailand

Dr. De Freitas has very good hairlines. Never understood @duchaine point of view and all the fuzz about "implanting in rows" tbh

Temples are very hard to treat with medical therapy alone. You'll probably need a hair transplant to restore them. In your case, medication is important to maintaint your remaining native hair
-
switching to 5 mg oral minox should be safe enough, provided you stop all the topicals. However, it's important tp monitor your health closely for any potential side effects.

switch to oral dutasteride and hop on oral minoxidil

I meant to say "macroscopic"
-
No it's not. Hair is naturally thinner around the ears. At worst it could be retrograde alopecia. Do you have a "microscopic" image ?
-
Is there a particular reason why you stopped Propecia after 8 years ? If you started at 18 (and took it up until 26 I guess?), it means that you lost a lot of ground since. If I were you, I'd hop back on a 5AR inhibitor (oral fin or dut) provided I can tolerate them, and opt for a HT

Avoid them at all cost

I don't have much information about Dr.Kuntal. All the other surgeons are great options, but I think are out of your range. You'll need at least 2500 grafts if not more, and I don't think that a budget of 5000$ will be enough
-
You are thinning diffusely all over your scalp,so maybe 3500-4000 grafts might be needed to cover all the balding area

I meant more expensive than Eugenix low packages.
Yeah but I was just saying that we can't consider Bicer as a budget option anymore. Her motorized punch rate is almost as expensive as De Freitas, Pinto, Ximena Vila, and Pekiner, and her manual FUE option is more expensive than all of the aforementioned surgeons, bearing in mind that manual FUE extractions are performed at Pekiner's and Vila's clinic...

Look for medecap.
avoid catellana (that a Spanish guy is trying to push on this board).
imho, ximena is overrated. Never saw a wow work.
custodio is very wow effect in many of his cases but: a) some of his works oh ig appear to be weak (and if you consider that the doctors publish their best works, there is some room for doubting on his skills); b) the only real report I found is quite poor.
Both Custodio and Ximena Vila are great surgeons. Ximena has recently increased her price to 3 euros/graft, and is currently training a new young surgeon who is perfroming some parts of the surgery with her. She performs two surgeries per day, and she only does the implamantation part, while technicians carry out all the extractions.

You could have a minor surgery to tweak the hairline (less than 2000 grafts) to make it more natural

Anyone have quotes from Freitas? He charges a custom rate per case according to his site, but not sure what the ball park would be
I was quoted 3.375 euros/graft for 2400 grafts by De Freitas. I guess if the number of grafts were higher, the price/graft would be lower, and higher if we are talking about a small number of grafts.
-
However, on a side note, I don't buy that someone can keep their hair on Oral Minox alone without some form of 5AR inhibition
-
I switched from 2.5 to 5 mg about 3 months ago. Nothing too crazy for the moment. But I also hopped on oral dut twice weekly. I'll have to reevaluate 3 months from now.
No response from Dr. Bicer
