  1. I don't really thinbk that anyone can argue that Spex has contributed most. Drop me your address in a pm mate and I'll wing them over
  2. Here's the deal guys. I recently bought some fin via the Dr Spex recommends. I decided to go for the generic option as Spex and the Dr assured me they were exactly the same as the non generic. Anyway I've been having a big shed recently and I want to totally rule out the fatc that it isn't the generic fin so have decided to go back to the old version. I'm 99% sure the generic stuff is ok, but want to be sure. So if anyone is interested drop me a pm and I'll post them on free of charge. If I get more than 1 pm I'll send to the person who I think contributes most to the forum. FH
  3. 50-100 is normal. I actually tried to get a better idea how many I lost today and think it must have been 200+. Not good. The strange thing is a lot of them came from the donor.
  4. Bill. Looks good so far. It seems you continued to lose hair whilst still being on Proscar over the years. Is this correct?
  5. I've only been on this site a short time, but recall seeing at least 4 or 5 guys. Joncrtim, Stingray and now the poor Chineese gentleman who recently posted all come to mind.
  6. John, sorry to hear about your situ, but its very difficult to give you an opinion without knowing more specifics about your case - in particular photos.
  7. Thanks for the reply spex. Interesting to hear that you don't even take minox.
  8. Consider this old guy http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_g_qX...Lkk/s400/old_man.jpg This level of donor isn't altogether uncommon for someone in their 80s. Considering it looks like he could barely scrape a few hundred grafts together its pretty obvious a lot of people's donor will thin extensively and any HT hair would disappear along with showing an unsightly scar. I'm just curious how many people worry that this may be them down the road? True we have meds and future treatments such as ppr, but to date there is no magic bullet.
  9. Can't remember the name of the poster, but someone here had a procedure with this guy and wasn't very happy. My advice is wai and research this forum for a few months and you will soon see who the best Drs are. don't take any chances with something as serious and potentially life changing as hair transplantation.
  10. Spex, do you mean holding off for good? What is your regimen out of interest? Thanks man.
  11. I usually try to avoid paying any attention to my hair shedding in the shower etc as I know it normal to lose many hairs every day but today I decided to just see how many exactly I lose. I counted at least 50 hairs lost when washing my hair this morning, many of which were good strong non-minaturised hairs. I was actually quite shocked how many were really going down the plug hole. Does this seem normal?
  12. Hey Bullit how are things going now? Hope you are feeling very positive about it all man, as you deserve it.
  13. Thanks man. My hair stylist recommended this product so I'm giving it a bash. http://www.fudgehair.co.uk/cat...ge/Fudge-Pump-Up.htm
  14. I'm currently 2 months post op and in the doldrums phase As you can see from my photos http://hair-restoration-info.c...=962101092#962101092 I opted to keep the hair longer behind the recip and brush it forwards and slightly to the side to cover the redness etc. This works a treat until I step out on a windy day, when a sudden unexpected blast of the balding man's worst friend can give the whole game away. Can any of you guys suggest a product that will kep the frontal combover in place without clumping the hair together. It seems I get the best volume when its blow dried and product free which obviously isn't good in the wind. I've tried clay and hairspray and both make the hair stick together at the front exposing the recip. Any advice guys?

  16. I have a question. How do you get the dead animal back to life again after killing it at days 1,3,5 & 7?
  17. Both are great for crown and hairlines. Check out Jotronics hairline (Wong) and MarkinJapan's crown (Hasson).
  18. K-man, you look fantastic & a much better style as well. As you say a little more density would be nice, but hopefully this will materialize over the next 3-9 months. How many grafts? V happy for you man.
