Attached is my current status of month 7. At the moment I can't find the time to take really optimal photos. As soon as I have more time, I will upload more comparable photos again.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the result so far. From my point of view, the result couldn't be more natural. But I think it lacks just a bit of density (comparing with the grafts that have been implanted), but I'm not complaining. The HT is still a huge positive change to my personal well-being.
BF said about 2 months ago that I should expect impressions by month 10-12. And I know that is the main consensus here. But for 1.5 months I hardly see any changes, so I would be really surprised if something will change from now on.looks good dude 👏🏻

Thanks @Big Rome! Really appreciate all the support and encouragement!
Heart palpitations is the biggest reason why. Never had those with Topical but definitely have with Oral. After reducing it to 0.6mg per day, it has been reduced quite a bit, but after watching Kevin Mann's HairCafe video on the topic recently, and how it could have negative effects on the heart long term with some individuals using the drug, I've decided to get off entirely once I can begin microneedling again.
I'm well aware that microneedling doesn't replace the profound effects you get with OM, but it will help to improve the absorption of topical much greater. I'm hoping because I'm on such a low dosage, that once I start microneedling, the greater effects of TM will offset the absence of taking it orally. It was not an easy decision to make for sure.
Fair play brother, can’t argue with that at all 👏🏻👏🏻 sorry, I didn’t see the bit about using topical so at least you’re not giving it up completely. Happy for you man 💙

Month 9
I just turned 51 this month and it's so hard to believe that I started this journey exactly 1 year and 11 months ago. I was a Norwood 3 almost my entire life and yet I can't remember what my old receded hairline looks like anymore.😁
No better feeling than when you don't have to think about hair anymore, outside of what style should I try this month, LOL!
The only area I hope to have just a little more improvement with is my left temple. It still looks good, but not as good as the right temple. Hopefully with just a few more months of maturity, the density will match better from the edge of the temple, blending to the back of the temple. More of a nit-pick than a complaint, and honestly if it never improved further I'd still be very happy with it.
My diet, supplements and exercise regimen has stayed constant. I'm still taking Dutasteride twice weekly. Finasteride 5 times weekly. Topical Minoxidil 5% daily. Oral Minoxidil 0.6mg daily. LLLT - 5x weekly.
Once I hit the 1 year mark, I'll cut out Oral Minoxidil altogether and add microneedling weekly with only Topical Minoxidil moving forward.
I'm so happy with this close to final outcome. Thank you @Eugenix Hair Sciences for the incredible work you do day in and day out. The many lives you've had a positive impact on are immeasurable. I always knew I'd eventually get my hair back, but I never imagined or dreamed that it could look this good after doing it. I'm forever grateful for this incredible gift you have given me and many others.
Wow!! This transformation is incredible & the results are so natural!! Really happy for you 👏🏻👏🏻
Why are you considering stopping the oral Min if you don’t mind me asking my friend? Will you not lose those gains? Either way this is incredible and you don’t look anywhere near 50s 🤣🤣👏🏻👏🏻

Never heard of it before in my life

Hi Buddy,
I don’t think Minoxidil stops the hair loss, I think it makes it grow faster and thicker. You would need to take finasteride or dutasteride to keep hold of the hair you currently have, using them together would be most beneficial 😊

I think growth really kicks off from 4/6 but can continue afterwards, I think the thickening stage starts from months 8 onwards but one of the more experienced guys will confirm 😊

Hi Everyone!
wanted to share a little 1 year update since my procedure with Dr B. This will probably be the last time I update this thread (will respond to any questions or comments that people have though) so I will try to give a good update. I am also trying to organize going into Dr Bloxhams next week so that he can do one of his video updates - will post that here if it happens.
MY RESULT
Overall, I couldn’t be much happier with my outcome. For positives, I have a completely restored, natural looking hairline after just one procedure. I have all of my confidence back. I do not have to use toppik or any concealer at all. I go in the pool again. I actually hardly ever even style my hair now because it looks fine the way it is 😂. As you can see from previous posts, where I’ve come from to where I’ve landed is absolutely insane and, to me, almost unbelievable at times. The scar is invisible as long as I keep my hair at an appropriate length on the sides (which for me is a 3). I am able to get a low fade that looks perfectly “short” in my opinion.
For “negatives” if you want to call it that, around the 9 month mark the texture of my hair became very wavy curly and on one side a bit more wiry feeling. I think we’ve all read that this can happen. I felt it was a bit strange that it happened so late, but I will say it seems to be improving in terms of that stiff feeling. I call this out as a “negative” only because 1) when I do try to style my hair it wants to bounce back pretty hard. Again this is improving and I am 0% worried about it. And 2) because everyone who has known me for 30 years know that I have straight hair everyone asks me how I’m getting my hair to be so wavy lol. To that I have no answer. Personally I actually like the added texture and if I care enough to use a hairdryer I can easily get it out.
In the end I am super happy I went with Bloxham and I am completely content with my FUT decision. Would I be happier if I got the same outcome with FUE? Sure. But I did what I thought was best for my individual case and have no regrets about that.
Below are pics of my hair today, unwashed for 2 days, unstyled, after wearing a hat.
incredible 👏🏻👏🏻🤯🤯

Thanks for the info. I asked for an online consultation in April but was told they are not providing any consultations until further notice (online nor in person). Would appreciate if you could send me Emilio's contact, maybe dm? Also if you are comfortable sharing the price point. Thanks in advance!
will DM you now my friend

Congratulations and wish you the best result. Could you please share how long it took to get a consultation and appointment with Dr. Pinto?
Thank you 😊
I booked my consultation in September 2022, the earliest slot back then was June the 16th 2023. I got really lucky, I pleaded for any cancellations & one came up for July the 12th so I only waited just over 3 weeks from consultation to surgery lol 🎉
I think consultations with DR Pinto are currently around may 2024 but I’d reach out to his coordinator Emilio if I was you & he can advise you better (Emilio is brilliant btw, very helpful)

Wow 😯 This is going to make a hell of a difference
I’m hoping so, been embarrassed of my hairline for the best part of 4 years now. I’m hoping with Pinto’s magic I can get back to some sort of normality. Appreciate your feedback brother 💙

Looks really good to me, great design and his usual refined/meticulous work.
Thank you brother, meticulous is definitely a word I would use to describe him lol. He had to remove about 50 + multis from my hairline 😫

Is there a general consensus how long after surgery can you start medication? (Finasteride/Dutasteride/Oral Min)
