    Hi,

I've been taking Propecia for about 9 months now.

I've started to notice lately that the side effects have gone above the level I am willing to tolerate.

I do plan to continue trying finasteride though.  I would like to see if I can find a dose to keep me below that level of side effects.

I'm wondering if I should take a break from finasteride (maybe 2-4 weeks) first and then try again at a lower dose.  Or if I should not take a break and just start taking the lower amount right now.  If you have had a similar experience with adjusting your dose, can you share your story?  Thanks,

what dose are you taking at the moment & what sides are you suffering from?

Hi guys, here is my Month 8 progress. The widow's peak formation has probably been the most prominent in terms of overall thickening and maturity from month 7 to 8. I feel like the hairline has dropped visually because of of the growth in that area.

I was keeping my hair longer on top and the sides but realized that as I grew it out, I was dealing with a lot more split ends and breaking as my hair would thin out with more length.  Because I have wavy hair it was also curling out making it very difficult to style. I decided to cut it down a little on top, and go with the high and tight look.

This is the first time I got a zero cut fade on the sides since the procedure and was the true test to see if the 5200 + grafts extracted would stand its ground and hold up in all areas. My hairdresser could barely see where the extractions were unless he really focused his eyes on it up close. And that was after he shaved me down at 0. With how homogenously the donor was managed, it really sets me up beautifully if I ever needed more work done in the future. I'm so fortunate to have had some of the best techs in the business at @Eugenix Hair Sciences managing that part of the procedure for me.

the framing of the face makes this so good, widows peak looks excellent too! donor looks brilliant at such a low guard! 👏🏻👏🏻

Finasteride stopped working for me so I was switched to dutasteride. However, dutasteride gives me side effects so I'm wondering if I could use it at a lower dose in conjunction with finasteride, say DUT 1x week and FIN 6x week, or DUT 2x week and FIN 5x week. Has anyone used dutasteride like this, instead of taking it everyday? Is it effective and worth doing?

    Thanks

If Fin has stopped working why take it at all? just try the Dut on its own as you suggested, once a week or twice a week?

    Hi all,

love the community and was hoping to not post and rely on posts already here but thought this might be easier.

Currently deciding between Feriduni , Bisanga and Freitas.
(been on finasteride for over 2 years as well as regain)

got a quote from the first two but Freitas rejected me stating “have very fine and blond hair

    Questions:

    - is this normal for Freitas ?

    - any other surgeons you recommend?
    - who of the above do you think is best for my case - I assume all three equal but thought worth asking!

    Thanks in advance!

can tell you’ve done your research, 3 very well respected doctors 👏🏻👏🏻

strange response from freitas however, Bisanga is a legend for the blonde guys

So one year has gone by -- and I was at my in-person 1 year check up at Feriduni in Hasselt last week. Very satisfied with the results, and below is comparison pictures attached - 11,5 months after and surgery day. Can't be happier with the follow up and professionalism of Dr. Feriduni and the technicians.
