Being honest with you 7k grafts for yout norwood is really high. Checking the first picture before HT you wasnt that bad, with medication and 4k grafts you could have very good results.
Any way the recipient looks very good.
Regarding the donor area is not that bad as you feel, if you place the hair correctly and dont cut it too short it wont be noticeable.
Dont panic with it. on which clinic they damage your donor area?
So you think, nearly 8k Grafts does not really justify the result?
It's hard to tell which clinic f*cked up the Donor, I had really bad and permanent schock loss from the FUT, I think it is a combination of the FUT damage and the FUE thinned it out even more

So, I had 7800 Grafts.
1. Hattingen Hair 5200 Grafts FUT 2019
2. HLC 2600 Grafts FUE Dec 2021
This is where I came from:
As I don't think pictures are really rateable, I provide you some videos in different light conditions

You might want to set the quiality to 1080p in right corner
I am in a very bad mood because my Donor area has been destoryed, which led me into deep despressions, where I don't leave the house without a hat any more and suffer from panic attacks which are only treatable with benzos :
So I'd like to hear your opinion about the overall result of the recipient site, is it a good result at least?

Very soft and natural looking hairline, congrats!

Wow...
I am sincerely sorry to hear that bro...
As a hairloss sufferer myself who had a failed transplant myself, I totally understand your agony and frustration...
But we're here to help ! ✊
Now like I said, I agree your donor is not in good shape.
But to me your result on the recipient area looks very solid.
The only "weakness" is the midscalp which (if I understand correctly) was not filled in with grafts yet.
So you could go for SMP or look into donor repair specialists. Mwamba does good work.
I am really sorry to hear this! Hope you could or can find a solution for your Problem!
If it comes down to the recipient area, I am kind of happy and unhappy at the same time.
Compared to before:
It's a huge improvement:

What's a little bit off: I have the feeling that my frontal third is not as dense as the area behind, would love to get that fixed, so I am stil debating about a 1500 Graft FUE
I stiil have the feeling of being bald, which is quite weird.

There no clinical data released for this and going by people who have used it on this forum they still experienced sides.
Yes, I am quite sceptical, as long @Melvin- Moderator is not using it, this sounds like an ad for me

I’ve been impressed by Xyonhealth
Did you tried it your self?

Do you have any update bro ?
What did Hattingen say in regards to the little bald spot that occured due to shock loss in the donor area ?
Did HLC provide any feedback ?
To be honest, I’ve given up on that back and forth communication.
seeing my self with this poor result for 8000 Grafts, which completely fade in harsh light, the destroyed donor (it’s really bad!) drove me into heavy depression with suicide toughts and heavy panic attacks.

Got question that, but hard for me to answer.
If a Norwood 5 recieves a transplant all over his head and starts with medication in the same time (Fin+Minox), is the medication able to improve things next to the transplant or will the transplant likeley destory the weak follicles?

You still have thinning on the midscalp and front in that 2nd picture. Is that before your procedure? The top picture looks fuller.
You can try growing the hair long and you may possibly need to style it a certain way and as with any HT that relies on an illusion of density, you probably will have to maybe try use hair fibres to also bulk up the appearance near the scalp.
Well sorry for the mis-order, ofcourse the top pic is the after and the bottom the before picture, I hoped that you might notice it after nearly 8k grafts
@Melvin- Moderator Thank you for that image, thats a great option!
-
We all know that we have to wear longer hair to keep up with the illusion of density. Most people who had a hair transplant are rocking that 7cm+ comb over like @Melvin- Moderatordoes.
I desperately want to wear my hair pretty long like 30cm or so. Is that too long and therefore the illusion of density will fail again or a possible option ?

Medical Exclusive Instanbul, that's a big no! You simply listed top clinics and a hair mill

Hi, so glad you are going there. Dr Cengiz did my extraction and Dr Bekir did the implantation
I am in the same boat like you, Dr.Cengiz did my extractions and Dr.Bekir the implantation, I was quite a bit nervous first, as I never heard of Dr.Bekir. But now after 6 Months, everything grows in nice, even the crown.
Will heading to HLC in Septermber again for my last transplant, hope I will be settled after 9000 Grafts ^^

I’m not making fun of him, I’m posing the question as to whether he should shave or get an HT. As hair loss sufferers ourselves, who better than us to tell someone the truth. If I were in his shoes, I’d want someone to pull me aside and say look, shave it or get an HT, but this isn’t the look.
Got that, but why just pulling him anymore into public and make a discussion out of it?
I really don’t get it, if you would know him personal and tell it to him under 4 eyes, I would really appreciate and honor it.
Sorry for my words, but attending on this social media hunt is disgusting to me.

Here’s one with harsher lighting. I think it’s for a movie. So possibly a hair piece, or a lot of concealer. His hair looks much thicker here than it did 10 years ago.
Stated it already, lighting is a b*tch

Fair enough and totally understandable. I feel the exact same way.
We should have all started Finasteride/Dutasteride a long ass time ago but now it's too late and we have to spend tens of thousands of dollars on multiple surgeries.
I think your crown and hairline are very solid now Jan.
Midscalp still has some "weakness" going on but it is only noticeable under harsh light.
I would would give Estrogen & cyproterone a bit more time. Chances are they will avoid you a 3rd surgery.
I have seen outstanding transformations with Estrogen & direct Anti Androgens on reddit's page Transtimelines.
In case you end up needing a 3rd surgery then I think 1000-1500 will probably will sufficient.
All the best
Hi,
so true, we should really start earlier with meds, for me this means I should have started with 16 or 17 already... I didn't even tough of loosing all that hair in such a small time range, also refused meds, because I never bothered to end up as a norwood 3, instead of that, the norwood reaper f*cked me
I am quite aware, that there are many girls on CPA+e2 with pretty good regrowth, but I think this is YMMY and I didn't notice any regrowth in the frontal third or mid scalp, but solid improvement behind that area.
To be honest, I already booked my hair transplant with HLC in September, I know that the Clinic is not the Froum's favourite like Eugenix, but in my case, they really showed they can truely deliver.
After that I will have a scar revision with Hattingen Hair,
that's it, hair transplants can't do more for me

Be careful believing that any doctor is performing magic. There’s no doubt Cuoto is skilled, but at the end of the day. A surgeon is only as good as the donor and scalp they have to work with. No one has a magic wand to produce more hair. I think you have done some good research. Usually, you should have a good feeling of who would meet your goals after the in person consultation.
Absolute this!

I’ve seen so many home runs with Bisanga on cases like yours @LeBerry comes to recent mind.
I think Bisanga is a really good doc if it comes down to nw2 - nw3.
What I am missing about Bisanga is a track record with higher Norwood classes like 4,5,6 with reasonable results.
The only result I am aware of and personally like, is that from the recent BHR Video.
Do you have some more explamples Melvin?
Does it look like 7800 Grafts?

Here might be a better before picture which has been done by Hattiingen Hair:
As it comes down to medication, I am on a very strong Testosteron blocker (CPA) and other Suff, so T/DHT should be 0 and further progression is very unlikeley.
I hope to improve a little with medication and the end result of HLC in Dec by this year.
But seeing the destroyed donor and the recipient which doesnt look like nearly 8k Grafts... leaves me depressed
