  1. I’m not expecting 100% coverage on crown nor even 80% as the goal was hairline since I’m still 26 yrs i wanted to play safe route in case hair loss progresses. I think still the 400-600 grafts she put on crown should provide some decent coverage and maybe easier for toppik until next surgery. We’ll see
  2. Honestly can’t tell you the exact numbers for the life of me BUT the total was 100% 3290 grafts. I know the very minimum that was put on hair line was 2500+. From what I can at least remember it was maybe around 2600-2700 on hairline and the rest on crown
  3. Hey - Was going to update every 3 months but sure can put some pics now. This is 7 weeks post HT. This was right after showering so it might look more red than usually is fyi. Donor still kind of healing. I think it was a bit of shock loss on donor but nothing too significant.
  4. Hi - To start off, this website has been a tremendous help in being able to discuss a common topic of hair loss/hair transplant and it has offered me a lot of insight so the least I can do is write my own experience/review in hopes that it helps the next person. I'll tell you now, my experience was unlike any other, but I am incredibly fortunate I went with Dr. Bicer! To my personal opinion, Dr. Bicer is the best there is. My HT occurred in early February 2023. Upon reading through experiences and talking through video chat with the dr. I was convinced she was the best doctor for me. My immediate reaction was, she doesn't sugarcoat her answers, she tells you how it is and the best possible way to go about getting your desired results. Someone who's sincere and who truly cares for their patient. I went ahead and scheduled the surgery which I had to wait roughly a year, it was worth it. My HT was successful at 3290 grafts with a heavy concentration on the hairline and minimal on the crown due to my young age of 26 and we played it conservatively for when the time came around for operation #2. Surgery was roughly 7-8 hours. We started by drawing the hairline which Bicer would recommend the best hairline matching your face and age. I went with her recommendation and happy with so far although its early on. They start by giving you xanax to relax you and then start numbing head essentially. They start in the back with what it feels like a stapler. It doesn’t hurt as much, others will disagree. After they fully numbed your head, you won’t feel any pain at all throughout the surgery. Every person in that clinic has an important job to do but Dr. Bicer was there every step of the way throughout the surgery. Making extraction to opening the new channels for grafts, I was extremely happy. In between you do take a break and after continue. She was there throughout the whole operation making sure you as a patient felt comfortable. If you only wanted to hear about the surgery, that’s all I have but if you want to learn more about the type of person Dr. Bicer is, keep reading. Days before surgery I felt nauseous which continued to the day of surgery I felt extremely nauseous for reasons I was unaware of. Dr Bicer insisted I be checked by her personal medical specialist at a private hospital. Tests were done and blood work before the surgery to make sure I am healthy and fit for the surgery. She had her assistant Ozen (an incredible woman with a kind heart) drive me and stay with me for 3+ hours in the hospital for results. An action that she didn’t have to take. Upon receiving positive results, we returned to the clinic surgery began and was successfully completed. The same night following the surgery I developed an immense amount of nausea which led to vomiting for reasons I was still unaware. Alone, exhausted, and in a foreign country, it was an experience I never thought I’d go through, but once I texted Dr. Bicer about my status that very same night, she was there for me. At peak midnight she came and personally took me with her husband to the hospital for immediate evaluation which came back positive again, but I still couldn't stop my vomiting until they used a particular medicine in the fluids, which eventually calmed my condition down. Instead of driving me back to my apartment, she insisted I be her guest in her home. Something I never imagined, not only being a guest in a stranger's home, let alone your doctor's home in a foreign country. I was so out of it and exhausted that I agreed lol. The following day drove back to her clinic she gave me some medication and rested a bit. I spent the day sleeping the majority of the time as I was exhausted physically and mentally. I knew I couldn't stay the full 8 days in this condition and I needed to get a deeper check-up as soon as possible back in the states. The following night I was in bad condition once again and Bicer and her assistant were there for me and drove me again as I couldn't stop vomiting. The hospital hooked me up to the same medicine that did the trick in the first place and it calmed me down. I had a lot of visitors in that room lol from Bicer, her husband, and her 2 assistants. I needed to come back ASAP to the states as I didn't want to remain there and get stuck if it was something serious. Bicer and I said our goodbyes as I was going straight to the airport the following morning. She gave me a xanax for the trip to calm me down and get me through the long flight. Got in a cab straight to the airport, purchased a new ticket to the states the same day, took Xanax, and completed the flight without a problem. Fast forward, the doctors found a bad stomach infection. I have been on meds and have gotten immensely better. The infection was bad and having some stress/anxiety didn't exactly help it. In the many thoughts that I had before the transplant on how it would go, never in a million years did I think this would be my experience, never. But, I am extremely thankful to god, for putting incredibly kind-hearted people in front of me. Extremely grateful to Dr. Bicer and her husband for welcoming me into their home, and an immense thanks to her staff who are just incredible and hard-working people. If you're thinking about choosing Dr. Bicer, choose her! If you're having second thoughts about Dr. Bicer, there should be no second thoughts, choose her! Her work is exceptional and her kind heart is rare to come upon in doctors. It's a foreign country and you want a doctor who always has your best interest at heart, a doctor whose responsibility is to you from the day you land to the day you leave. And, a doctor with top-notch work. I am extremely happy with the results so far although it's early, I can tell the results should be amazing! Hope this helps with your decision! Details: - 26 Yrs Old - Current regiment, 1mg Finasteride, biotin. I stopped Minoxidil. The dermatologist/I concluded it wasn't helping and shedding actually reduced after quitting - 3000 grafts during the consultation, but Dr. Bicer put 3290 for extra coverage on the crown - A second surgery will be needed to add more density to the crown, but time will tell and how my progress goes Advice I have: - If you can, try and get there at least 2 days before surgery - If you can, stay at least 3 days post HT to at least recover a bit - Select an accommodation near the clinic just in case - Schedule a VIP pick up and drop off from the airport so you don't have to deal with taxis and extra headache - Be sure to do a quick check-up with your doctor prior to the trip just to make sure you're healthy Good luck and DM or comment anyway I can help Photos: Dec 2022 14 Days Post-HT
  5. If I were you I’d look into airbnb’s too. I have surgery with her next week and honestly didn’t want to deal with taxis and didn’t want to completely break bank on hotels, so I got an airbnb like 4-5min walk from her office. Also staying 8 days post op just to relax and also I’ll work from there. we’ll see how it goes but you should look into it
  6. Hey do you have an update by any chance? The video looks like its been deleted
  7. Sorry for late reply. Well she said 3000, as she was going to focus on the hairline and then whatever is left over on the crown. But, the crown got a bit thinner than the previous photos I showed her. I can see it maybe going to 3500 graft to make it full. I’m no doctor but doubt the 3000 will fit that crown and also the hairline.
  8. Thanks for the feedback. That’s what I thought. Didn’t realize it until now. Maybe could just be the way my hair is when cut short because if i give another week it fills in like that.
  9. I’m not doctor by all means, but here’s my two cents. Medication will help with stabilizing the hair loss. Finasteride will at least halt hairloss and possibly promote a bit of growth (varies), and minoxidil is supposed to just make the current hair a bit stronger and promote growth as well (varies). I would say definitively take fin. Minoxidil might be able to help on top, can’t say much because Minox works in two different ways from my experience. It can either promote hair growth, or, slowly removes hair which means those were the weak hair follicles that were going to eventually fall out, which is what happened to me feedback is start Fin and Minox, and get multiple opinions from different HT surgeons. Good luck
  10. Hey Y’all - This site has really been a big help when it comes to feedback regarding hair-loss/HT. Had a question and thought I get some feedback from people regarding my donor area. Do y’all believe this is okay for a donor are? Maybe I might be over thinking it but I believe it might be thin? Granted that my hair in general is thin. When hair is long, nothing is noticeable. Some spots are missing hair because played rough as a kid lol and have some marks around my skull. PS. Photos were both taken with flash. And last haircut was on Nov 1 which I usually get a mid skin fade. Might be because of haircut that it looks bit thin. 🤷‍♂️ Surgery is scheduled with Dr. Bicer in case y’all wondering

  12. Awesome results man! That confidence level must now be through the roof 🤙🏻
  13. Very much appreciated! Will definitely take a look at them regardless.
  14. Well Bicer I can afford, it is expensive but I’d rather go with a good doctor. I was looking too see if there were other top doctors in similar range or just a bit lower for curiosity
  15. I think it’s stabilized somewhat? (Stupid question) how would I know if it’s fully stabilized? I am not losing that much hair in the shower if that’s what you’re referring. But I know those baby hairs on the hairline will come iff. Hope she can add hair in-between. Like I said, I know I’ll need a second surgery eventually. not going to add more medication honestly. Besides fin and minox not adding additional medication.
  16. You’re right! And regarding fin, stabilized, I would hope so. I started it when I was about 22 and hair keeps thinning, bit by bit but I’m seeing less and less hair in tub. Usually before it was a lot. Not sure if thats Cause of micro needling.
  17. Hey - Thanks for the feedback! I should worded my post differently. Yes, it’s a bit high because when I talked to her it was 1.5euro which was perfect, but if I’m going to do the surgery, I’d rather be her regardless price. The first one is the important one. But my main concern is, if I should wait or just do it.
  18. Hi Y’all - First, want to say this forum is freaking awesome! Had a chance to reach out to several people regarding HT and all been helpful, but want to get larger audience opinion on the situation. My hair is thinning specifically, hairline and crown, as well as the temple on one side. I’m looking to do a hair transplant to fill those areas in. I already know this won’t be a one surgery and be done. I do expect that I’ll need another surgery in the future. I’ve done some research since Sept on doctors in Turkey, and Dr. Bicer is the name that keeps coming up. i spoke with her twice already. Once in Sept, and once last month. She said I would need around 2700-2800 grafts but absolute max 3000. She seems very knowledgeable and all around caring about the end result. I think Bicer is the one, but love for feedback on below questions. info about me: - 25 Yrs Age, Currently on Fin (3yrs), Currently on Minox (once a day, 3yrs), and recently been micro needling every week and sometimes every other week. Questions for y’all; - Do you think it’s a good time for me to go through with HT? Or should I wait a year? (Hairline btw used to be lower, don’t let pic fool you) - During a HT, does she cover temple peaks, even though it wasn’t mentioned to her during call? I didn’t mention the temple peak needs covering but she saw it was thin. - Has anyone cut Minox after surgery and stuck with PRP or just removed it completely? (Hate Minox) feel like it made thinning worse. - Are there any other doctors that are highly recommended in Turkey based on your personal experience? Love to hear your feedbacks or your own experiences!
