  1. Yes, I'm from the UK so travelled from here to Turkey for the procedure. 1) There were no issues at all - Dr Bicer speaks very good English and will do her best to convey any information clearly. I'm an ESL Teacher, and her language ability in English is more than sufficient for the procedure and aftercare. 2) To be honest, as I can barely remember what my original hairline looked like. So, I left my hairline to Dr Bicer, especially as she has worked for so long in the profession. Hope that helps 👍
  2. Thanks for the kind feedback - I really appreciate it! It's a strange (but amazing) feeling - it feels like I have my hair back rather than new hair, which makes it feel natural as well as look natural
  3. Month 7 and 8 update: A selection of photos from the past 2 months of growth! Very happy to go about my life without worrying about my hair 😁
  4. Nice! Good luck! One of the best decisions I've ever made. Send me a message if you have any questions 👍
  5. 6 months! So happy with how it's going. I've never been out of the house so often without Toppik fibres. Looking forward to the next few months. 🥳
  6. 3.5 month update: I can see a bit of growth since the last update, but generally, I feel much more confident going out without a cap now. I put a few fibres in and it look great, even at this early stage. It's crazy looking back at my progress at 7 weeks when I was totally bald. It seems like a lifetime ago.
  7. Hi, thanks a lot! I'll send you a message so we can chat rather than going back and forth on here 👍
  8. To be honest, it didn't even cross my mind to take fin. Especially as Dr. Bicer didn't recommend it for me. From my personal understanding, finasteride will protect native hair from succumbing to the male pattern baldness. In my opinion, that just seems like that is delaying the inevitable. At some point, the whole top of my native hair will fall out so I may as well just get it out of the way, let it fall out and then fix it with a couple of hair transplants. I'm always open to new information if I've got this wrong but that's what I understand so far.
  9. Happy 3 months! I'm pleased with the progress I've made so far. From what I've read on other posts, the growth between month 3 and month 6 is very exciting to watch. Donor area still looks fine, but I'm expecting that to heal more in the coming months. For what it's worth, as I get a lot of questions about this, I'm using 5% minoxidil and I'm not taking finasteride.
  10. 11 week update: 1 more week until the 3 month milestone! It's flown by. I can't wait for the rapid growth between month 4-6.
  11. Yes, I certainly expected it to look worse than this and this stage. Thanks for your comments! 👍
  12. 9 weeks 5 days update: It's getting exciting! Happy New Year to everybody! Let's hope 2022 is the year of extreme hair growth.
  13. Quick update: Currently on day 52 (7 weeks 3 days). I think everything is going well. Recipient area is looking well and the donor area looks pretty much healed. I did have some redness but that looks to be gone now. This picture was taken with flash and there is still barley any red left.
