Unfortunately there is no such thing as a 'no risk' surgery.  All you are seeing are the ones that turned out good.

No doctor will voluteer to tell you of the bad ones where only 20% of 5000 grafts actually grew.

I know that clinics will hide their bad results and show only the good ones. We all know that there a significant percentage of failed procedures from all clinics...

Regardless who the doctor is i would not want to have a surgery with 6000 grafts in one day. It is not safe. If the doctor is that good he want have any problem to split the surgery in two or three days.

It depends on the clinic, like i said. Some clinics know how to do it without problem while others are not able to do it.

here is an example of Dr Zarev with 8300 grafts in a 2 day session...He got a great result without any risk.

Example from @Dr. Felipe Pittella with 6744 grafts harvested in just one day. Again without any problem. And he has many other examples with similar number of grafts in just one day. or 10.000-12.000 grafts in a 2 day session.

Another 6975 grafts surgery in just ONE day from Dr Pittella. great result without any problem...

6000 grafts per fue in one day is not recommended. Its not only that the growth rate will be poor, but this is dangerous for the patient too.

As i said @Dr. Felipe Pittella is doing 6000 grafts per day (12.000 grafts in a 2 day session) without problem at all. He has high yield rates and there's not any danger for his patients. So it depends on the clinic, some clinics are able to do that without problem while others cant do it.

As the title states, I need some advice.

Today I received an evaluation and recommendation from Dr Resul Yaman, which are:

    Method: DHI with Yaman Implanter

    1. About 4000 grafts required
    2. Price $3250, included in this are:

    • Pre and post consultations with doctor
    • Blood analysis and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
    • DHI Operation
    • Post operative control and cure
    • Post operative medicines
    • Special shampoo and lotion for the first 10 washing
    • First washing by a specialist
    • 3 nights 5* hotel (double room-breakfast inc.)
    • Transfers (airport-hotel-clinic-airport)

Yaman does the incision, consultation, hair analysis & design, local anesthesia and incision steps.
Extraction are performed by his staff. Implantation performed by the implantation team using the Yaman Implanter. Team is educated and trained by Dr.Yaman personally.

Now to the questions that I have.

    1. Do I need 4000 grafts? - Why I'm asking this is because not long ago I was at Nordic Hair Clinic in Sweden for a consultation. The doctor there gave me an estimate of 2000-2500 grafts in total. As it's been a while I understand if I'd require a bit more, but not double.

    2. Would you say the price is cheap, fair or high? - I saw another review from a guy that did 5000 Grafts at Dr.Yaman and paid the same price, and that got me question it a bit.

    3. Would you say 4000 grafts in one session is recommended? - From what I've read, I understand that this completely depends from clinic to clinic, and the doctors skills in managing donor area. But most comments I've seen said that one should stay at max 2500 grafts per session.

    4. I've only researched doctors and clinics that focuses on FUE, but I've heard about other methods like FUT and some other which I can not remember the name of.
Do you have any advice regarding the different methods, and which ones would be best suited for my HT?

4000 grafts is a good graft number for your case. Dr yaman is a great doctor in a fair price and he has great and natural results. In your case i would proceed with Dr yaman with FUe and avoid FUT since it can give you a nasty scar.

Isn't the implantation the important part of the HT , 1 thing am worried is the harvesting. Whats his planning involvement on it

in many clinics the implantation is done by techs...for example in Eugenix and Bisanga clinic the implantation is done by techs. Also in Eugenix clinic all extractions are done by techs...So as you can understand in many clinics techs do parts of the procedure.
