Report for six months. I did not have time to make a report on time, but I prepared photos taken exactly for 6 months. Half a year is the time to sum up the intermediate results, so I tried to make the report a little more detailed. Unfortunately, there have been no significant improvements. The hair becomes thicker and longer, this makes the appearance better, but new hair has not appeared during this time. If there is a certain density in the front line, then at the top there are areas where there is not a single hair per square centimeter. That is, there is no talk of any promised 30-35 grafts per centimeter. I am attaching a photo for comparison before the operation and the result for 6 months. I tried to take a photo with a ruler, so that it would be clear that at the top of the head the density is very low.
I ran out of vitamins that were given out at the clinic. Dr. Yaman told me to continue drinking saw palmetto and biotin. Also. The doctor agreed that the growth is really weak, but in any case, you need to wait 12 months. If by 12 months I am not satisfied with the result, they promised to fix it. I still hope that the result will be better and have not yet decided whether I will have a second operation. But the fact that Dr. Yaman is ready to admit a bad result and is ready to correct it, I respect.
I will be very grateful for your comments.

On 6 months you cant make judjements...You still have plenty of time till 12 months. Be patients as it seems that you are a late grower...

    Hi,

I got an offer $1800 for 4000 grafts from Resul Yaman.

    Is that normal?
I found it very cheap (looking at the average price with quality) and raised my concerns.

please your advice would be highly appreciated.

Any good doctors with the price of £2000-2500 for 2500-3000 grafts?

Dr Yaman is an ethical doctor and has great results, as you can see on this forum...i have never seen that price to any of the dr yaman's patients..

Not that any big changes are expected, but here is the 11th month update, brothers.

I still feel a lot of hard stubble in my mid scalp and crown and still get this nice, warm, 'blood flowing in the scalp' sensation every day. It could always of course be my high blood pressure from the terrors of child rearing and being murdered by the wife 24/7.

The worst bald head in my family tree -whom of course I take after- was a NW5 at around 55-60 and died NW6 at over 80 years of age. I think that all of my native hair in the NW5 region succumbed to shock loss post op and what I have in the front-vertex is now just the transplanted hairs. If that's the head of hair I rock at 60, sign me up, I'm a happy man.

I'll be posting a final update on the 12 month mark and then revisit the thread in case some weird-late-growth miracle happens in my mid-scalp or crown. I believe that Dr. Yaman is a great VfM choice. No miracles but solid handiwork overall. It's important to keep expectations and individual circumstances in check.

A big 'thank you' goes out to the community, sharing knowledge and assisting thousands of male brothers in our daily struggle against this foul and unfair balding plague.

PS I'm on my Saw Palmetto/Rosemary Extract regime and I notice zero to minimal shedding. Of course, I am old (over 40) and I do believe that I've lost all of my native hair in the NW5 region so that could be it, but if the herbs contribute even a little to maintenance, I want that knowledge to be out there.

Great result...Really natural. Dr Yaman is a really good choice in Turkey at a decent price. Best value for money option i think.

Sorry you're incorrect and quite misinformed. For amount of grafts FUT can't be beaten. FUE does not give the density that FUT does and anyone arguing that is just putting their head in the sand. There is no big nasty scar with FUT this isn't the 1990s anymore, especially with a doctor like Dr Path. Please do more research on the subject Gramatik.

You are incorrect and uninformed...nowdays clinics like Eugenix or Pittella or Zarev can give very good coverage to norwood 7 patients with FUE+BHT. Havent you seen their threads? You need to do more research for sure!
I cant understand why anyone would select FUT, thats why most clonics have stopped doing this old method. By doing FUT is like a russian roulette, as you dont know how big will be your scar. There are always many possibilities for your scar to strech a lot. I would avoid doing FUT.

FUT is the best option for anyone who is going to lose a decent amount of hair. FUE looks thin and if a person does not plan correctly they will have no donors when they need a second HT. FUE is good for people with minimum hair loss, thats all.

no fut is old fashioned method and most clinic have stopped doing FUT. There are plenty of good clinics nowdays which can give good coverage to higher norwood patients 6 or 7 with just FUE+BHT..so there is not any reason to select FUT and get a nasty big scar
