  1. Looks awesome! Excited to follow your journey. I've been really impressed with Mwamba and am considering a touch up procedure with him.
  2. Will there be discussion about the topical dutasteride they are working on? Would like to know what they’ve seen in studies about scalp dht inhibited by topical dutasteride vs oral.
  3. Dr. Victor Hasson mentioned collagen reduction with minoxidil in his IG live with Melvin. Dr. Hasson said minoxidil users have compromised scalp tissue because of collagen breakdown and it’s very obvious when they dissect strips under microscopes. My skin definitely got worse while I was on topical minoxidil for an year, I stopped after consulting with Dr. Hasson who said he says premature facial aging all the time with minoxidil. I also switched from fin to dut about an year ago and it’s been great so far. I had some mild side effects on fin but it’s been the total opposite on dut (higher libido, stronger erections, very frequent morning wood which never happened on fin).
  4. Mwamba has been around for 25 years, there was a very impressive Norwood 6 transformation on this forum recently. You can’t really go wrong with any of the European options I listed. I would recommend getting free online consultations from all of them.
  5. Mwamba charges 3€/graft in Brussels and is a better option than anyone in Turkey. Ferreira, Freitas, Pinto and Ximena are also good options in your price range.
  6. Looks awesome! Did the density significantly improve on the left side post 6.5 months?
  7. Nadimi has some good results on this forum but I feel she’s way overhyped because of her association with Dr. Konior. Nadimi has only been doing hair transplants for 4-5 years and it’s not her sole focus as she does other cosmetic procedures. I would consider Hasson and Wong, Dr. Sethi at Eugenix, Mwamba, Pinto, Bisanga and other international options. Don’t limit yourself to local options, all of the doctors I listed are more affordable than Nadimi and have a lot more experience.
  8. Rolandas did a video about getting oral minoxidil in the UK.
  9. What are your expectations? Do you have more pictures? The 1500-1700 estimate Dr. Nadimi provided is not enough for a full restoration and you will probably need a 2nd procedure. Dr. Nadimi is a skilled surgeon but I have not seen any FUE cases from her over 2000 grafts. Given your level of hair loss I would consider doctors that can do 3000+ graft FUE sessions like Bisanga, Hasson, Freitas, Eugenix, Pinto, and many others. Don’t pick a surgeon based on location. Get multiple consultations from other docs, most surgeons provide free online consultations.
  10. Awesome, I’ve been playing way too much for name brand Proscar. Walgreens used to have a similar membership discount.
  11. Dr. Hasson did an interview with @Melvin- Moderator announcing a new formulation of topical finasteride that only has 5% absorption in the blood stream. You can find more info here:
  12. Wow, it looks amazing and you’re only at 6 months. Sucks that you’re getting side effects from finasteride. Are you sure the sides are from finasteride and not something else (new medications, lifestyle changes?) since weren’t getting them the first 2.5 years? Might be worth checking out Hasson and Wong’s new topical finasteride which has very little systemic absorption.
  13. I got my hands on it and have used it for a few days. The suggested dosage is 1 pump but I find I need to use at least 4-6 pumps to get full scalp coverage so it’s not very practical priced at $99/month.
  14. I just placed an order and it’s $99 CAD which is roughly $78 USD right now. Still pretty steep but not as bad. I am more interested in the topical dutasteride which won’t need to be applied as frequently so it should be more cost effective.
