@MazAB i just watched your video on the Eugenix YouTube again and also looking at your update here, really looks like your temple points match really closely with how mine are and seeing results like yours growing well, looking natural at only 4 months in helps inspire some confidence. Do you know how many grafts they used for your temple points?

They seem to know their stuff. Heck, i got my hairline design pictures back and graft estimate and the only thing i literally wanted to tweak was the angle of the temporal point. The hairline being lower and more flat was exactly what i would have wanted so they're pretty good i think at unintuitively doing things. I noticed you had quite a few grafts for your temples and i'm also really eager to fully restore mine. They're probably in a little worse for wear than maybe yours were, but do you know how many grafts were used there?

Big congratulations @Melvin- Moderator on your procedure and i sincerely hope it gives you that final piece to complete the HT journey. You 100% got the royal treatment for sure. As a full disclosure kind of question I have to ask, not to be rude or anything, just for confirmation. Did you pay for the surgery in full, including travel, accommodation etc. or was this offered to you by Eugenix in return for you to talk about your experience with them etc. The Farmhouse thing looks really cool and definitely shows their future plans and cool you got to experience that. I just guess i want to point out that it doesn’t quite appear your treatment matches with some of the other patients stories i've read. Like for example having a 3hr consult with Dr Sethi over hairline design. There's other stories shared here how Dr Bansal would do a hairline for like 15-20 mins then leave the person to look at it, think and then return. I do sincerely wish you all the best with your results. You seem like a super great guy and appreciate you spreading the knowledge and experience here and on YouTube etc.

Is this like something officially sanctioned by the Indian Govt? Don't get me wrong, i believe you, i just am super cautious about getting caught on the wrong side of it. I know Eugenix offer 2 nights complimentary stay on their Exclusive and upwards packages and i was thinking of asking them if maybe i could stretch that out and i'd possibly stay for about maybe 4 days post-HT to let the hair anchor in, let them help me with the hair washing etc. and then travel back. It's pretty cool you visited the Taj Mahal and stuff. Definitely going to read your write up fully and hopefully watch a video if you release one

I'm in the UK and i was actually just looking to try and wrangle a date for March time maybe but these new rules could definitely be an issue and i know Eugenix say there's flexibility if you pay the deposit and things like Covid restrictions etc. get in the way, i just still don't like the idea it could be months and months later. Although, if what Melvin says above is true, we need to see how that works and for patients coming from which countries.

I asked for some examples but i was shown some YouTube video links. I guess it was explained as something to do with patients not signing some waivers to release the information etc. That's why i was hoping patients that have maybe had their temporal points restored and got to the 12+ month mark and full results to share their feelings. Did they think maybe they would have liked more density etc. I feel like my situations not common where the temporal points are almost completely gone and doing a bit of self diagnosis i came to the conclusion that it happened because of an aggressive and concentrated form of retrograde alopecia on the temporal points. That's why even now, although i have hair there, it's very weak but dense enough as you can see to look covered. It just needs an entire rebuild though.

Whilst i respect the opinion of further hairloss, i wouldn't really say there's a massive issue in his case because he said he's been on medication and the hair loss stabilised for the last 2+ years now. I think Dr Blake Bloxham is probably one of the few respected guys out there who even said he disagreed with the whole age gating for a HT. Albeit sensibly as anybody at that age should consider, not lowering the hairline massively and using up a ton of grafts. However, the frontal hairline usually is always the first sort of place that is addressed and then over time any additional HTs deal with behind that area for coverage if necessary. I've also read stories of people seemingly stable in their later 30s and then a rapid acceleration a few years later, so there's really no guarantee but medication and 5 year studies have shown stability remains on Finasteride for 64% of people. So i think OP could go for something conservative.

I came across your original thread. You had a helluva dense packing done and it's only been four months. A typical hair cycle is three months and that's why most doctors say whether transplant, medication etc. is used to give it 12 months because those 4 or so hair cycles can help hair grow stronger etc. and in the case of transplant hair, some may be in a resting phase longer than other transplanted hairs which is why they don't sprout as much. Honestly, your results for growth at this stage look great but don't be disheartened if you end up going through a shedding phase. It's all about that 12 month or so mark where i would say 95% or greater of results are seen.

Thanks for sharing i did have a read through. I'm hoping the OP shares an update again soon, as i do know the first page had OP comment they appeared to look quite thin and in the last photo update in that thread i have to agree that the temporal points look a little sparse. Bearing in mind, mine are a full 100% reconstruction that needs to be done, that is probably my biggest fear. On a strong positive, that frontal hairline is really good. Great work on that by Eugenix. I swear, it just sucks so bad in some ways but then I look around and remind myself, literally everybody has their own unique struggles on the hairline to contend with and challenges to overcome and you just gotta go for it by doing the most research possible and then make the best choice and hope it all works out. I think this forums probably full of some really great and helpful people and i just genuinely feel like now is the best time. I wanted it in my 20s, but they constantly talk about age and waiting to see how your loss is etc. so in some ways it inadvertently may have worked out because Eugenix and all the other great doctors are now on the scene and able to show their work and have patients who are great at wanting to help others by showing it here.

Hi @Dboozer There's a bunch of clinics listed on the site that you could ask to offer a potential free consultation and get their professional assessment. Your crown looks a bit thin but there's a possibility that's the lighting, hair colour and skin tone exaggerating that effect and naturally crowns are not actually as dense as other parts of our head. The blackhole of hair transplants as some call it. I got classed as a Norwood 2, you can kinda see my thread in this part of the forum and my temporal points are much weaker than yours look. Whilst the point itself has receded back, yours still look relatively thicker overall and point out a bit at least. However your frontal and temporal points are where things mainly differ and that's where it could be that they say Norwood 2 or Norwood 3. Definitely no more than Norwood 3 and i've seen patients get between 1200-2200 grafts (depending on hair calibre) to probably get that transplant done. Bottom line, it's all about the type of restoration you want doing. At your age, my focus would instantly be on having it lowered down and whatnot, but taking into account potential future hair loss, it usually is said to be a better idea to be more conservative just in case even using Finasteride etc. you need a further procedure down the line. You look like you'd probably have a shot with beard hair too if needed. Most likely, the corners getting "filled" and a fencing around that frontal hairline around what you have now might get recommended.

Just wanted to bump this topic and get some advice really. I am on a budget, i'm leaning towards Eugenix and their exclusive package but i want a complete temporal point restoration and although i know Dr Sethi and Dr Bansal are the names and faces, the package i want means they aren't involved at all. Has anybody else had the exclusive package with Eugenix that only involves the senior doctors and technicians where they had temporal points worked on, and would you please share your experience and results or how it presently looks. Thanks for taking time to look at my post. That's actually really great of you. I've been in touch quite regularly with the consultant from Eugenix with my questions i felt they could answer. My main focus now is probably talking to patients like yourself, just so i know how that process worked. I'll be flying from the UK and just getting everything in order, Visa, flights, hotels and stuff like blood tests for an appropriate amount of time is now what i'm looking to figure out. Then hopefully make the deposit and book.

Thanks so much for the reply. I've been quoted 250 per temple. At first i was a little concerned about density, but after doing a little bit of measuring around the area, i think 250 singles per temple could help properly reconstruct them now. Looking forwards to your further updates.

@H3ri congratulations on your transplant and hoping you get the results you want after 12 months! I noticed you had your temporal points restored somewhat as well. Do you mind sharing how many grafts per temple point you had transplanted? I've been quoted 250 each for mine but i like literally have nothing there, so i was wanting to see how many grafts people are having implanted when they have it done like yours. Thanks in advance

You can have between 50-150 hairs fall a day. Since you don't always wash or touch your hair everyday, in a wash when looking for them, you might sometimes notice more than usual because whilst washing the loose hair that's already fallen but not untangled from the dry hair also falls. Looks perfectly normal shedding amount to me tbh. Don't overthink it. Stressing causes hair loss too.

Lol, well, cat's out the bag it seems. Yes, i have consulted with Eugenix and tbh, the primary reason was for their knowledge and experience with temporal point restoration. That's the biggest goal i have to get correct with my hair transplant and i'm on a budget but trying to be sensible when we're dealing with such a finite donor area. I have seen your post and experience with Eugenix too which was really insightful and being from the UK, i'd definitely feel like you'd be a great source of information on how you planned it all out, the payments etc. as you basically already went through all of that. I personally consider myself very lucky to have the hair i do at present considering i didn't take Finasteride/Dutasteride etc. in my early 20s and the loss has been stable mostly and hopping onto a regimen is definitely something i wish i'd done earlier to help preserve what i had a bit more even 5 or so years ago. I have mentally been wrangling with the idea of whether it would have been better to go an FUT route or FUE but ultimately i think i could get away with FUE and making sure i stick to a regimen of Finasteride/Dutasteride and possibly need a top up every so often. You probably know this all too well, but you have all these exciting thoughts in the back of your kind on how amazing it could go, you try to temper it and then when maybe the procedures done, even with all the expectation setting, you get those moments of doubt and little regrets creeping in. So, i guess it's nice to have a community like this to at least mentally prepare and figure things out from the experience of others. Helps you get through those tough spots till you realise the desired results at around the 12 month mark.

Thanks for the welcome. It's quite interesting that the links you provided all refer back to Eugenix. I've actually watched the YouTube video multiple times and whilst it is informative on how they should be recreated. My concerns primarily stem around whether 250 single hairs could adequately give the illusion of density and blending into the non-transplant hairs and hopefully looking blended with the frontal hairline restoration. Honestly, apart from the adjusted temporal angle in the picture i posted, the frontal hairline zone was what the Dr at the clinic drew and i was honestly, happy with that. To me, actually making just a minor adjustment on the temporal angle the Dr drew made me feel that generally what i wanted to do was considered realistic.

Hello, I am new to the forum and hopefully looking to absorb as much information as possible. I have become absorbed into trying to find out as much as i can about temple restoration and want to offer a bit of background. My temples began to recede extremely early on. As much as i would say from 16/17 and i knew the density and stuff was completely going in the wrong direction and would say by 18/19 it was pretty much weak as you could probably go. So essentially right now, if you look at some hairlines that have completely lost their temporal points, that's what mine is like. I have now through a lot of searching found that the answer may lie very much in a concentrated and area specific form of Retrograde Alopecia on the sideburns where the temporal points were. My frontal hairline was and generally is well. I would say over the last decade, i've had minimal recession looking back at photos from when i was 21 to now at 31+. I had a quotation from a well known and respected place that's been used by some here and the photos i sent, they identified the the frontal hairline zone to have circa 1200-1500 grafts and quoted me as needing about 250 grafts (all singles) to reconstruct the temple points. The temple points being as they are is my biggest and largest concern in a hair transplant and having them reconstructed with an appropriate looking density. They said they aim for about 30 square CM for the temples and 40-45 square CM for the frontal hairline. My hair personally i feel is more on the finer side, but without a trichologist checking, i can't say for 100% and could be even classed as medium hair. So, with that said, i wanted the opinion of others on whether 250 grafts would provide a dense enough look to the temple points. I'm attaching a picture to show the temples. They're near identical on both sides. The lines provided were originally from the clinic but i have added the darker line to indicate where i actually wanted to adjust the angle of the temporal point. I know some might not agree with it not being as sharp and closer to a more vertical line, but it's literally the biggest insecurity i've had since being young and now at 30+ with stable hair loss and recently being on Dutatesteride and having had stabilisation showing, i feel like i have a longer term potential with it largely having been stable for hair loss for near a decade from like a Norwood 1 to maybe Norwood 2 in very subtle ways without any medication. As an extra tidbit, i have a good beard, and body hair galore should that be necessary but i am looking for a strong frontal hair and temporal restoration.

@Wanderer93 can you keep us updated on how this plays out for you. Have you already booked flights and if so, how's all the pricing worked out for you with the flights l, hotels etc. I am looking into using Eugenix potentially as a place for my Hair Transplant and would also be travelling from the UK albeit probably from Manchester.
