  1. This is really exceptional work. How bad were the anesthetic injections?? Quite painful? Or did you find it very tolerable?
  2. This definitely looks like Hasson. You had a similar hairline to what I have now. May I ask - how were the anesthetic injections with Hasson? Painful?
  3. How was the anesthetic injection pain?
  4. How painful were those anesthetic injections??? Like intense pain? Or a manageable pain?
  5. Alberta!! I'll be flying to/from Calgary. My day to day life wont be an issue, but the flight scares me. I'm almost positive security will make me take off the hat, and for those 3-4 minutes I will be mortified hahaha. But I guess it's just trying not to care what others think. I would gladly take that over the anesthetic pain (if it's truly as bad as I have heard). Hopefully both are a breeze.
  6. Are you flying in?? I am also nervous about flying home with a swollen head haha. But that's amazing, please keep me posted how yours goes!! That'll help ease some of my own anxiety about going. Hopefully those injections are a breeze!
  7. Likewise, I am also in the 3000-3500 range for my FUE. Very nervous about handling those injections - I have heard it's quite unpleasant. But you will have to let me know how yours goes!!! Mine is the very end of the month, so I suspect you'll be up first!! Let me know how you found it!!
  8. I also have a HT with Dr. Hasson this July. I am quite nervous about the anesthetic injections - hopefully they wont be too painful. You and I have very similar hairlines, so I will be looking forward to following your results. Please let me know what kind of hairline he recommends for you!! I am hoping for something straight (as opposed to a widows peak) but feel certain they'll go this route to make it look more natural!
  9. Cheers!! I have a FUE procedure with him coming up, and I am pretty nervous about the injections. This makes me feel better! Yours looks like a great success, seems like you made a great choice!!
  10. How did you find the anesthetic injections with Dr. Hasson? Painful? Tolerable?
  11. I have a very very very similar hairline to yours, and I also have very little (if any) loss on the crown. My HT is booked, and my estimate was 3000-3500. So, I'd play it safe and guess somewhere around 3500 for you as well (assuming all you're wanting to do is fill in the corners and not lower it too much).
  12. I am also curious.. did Dr. Hasson talk you into the widows peak hairline? Or is that exactly what you wanted and asked for? I've read others went in wanting it straight across, and were talked into the more natural looking widows peak
  13. Thanks for the replies everyone! I am travelling back 3 days after the procedure. I'm sure I'll be swollen, but for some reason I am less nervous about that, and more nervous about how my head looks (with regard to scabs and redness, etc.)! But I suppose it's just one of those "you gotta suck it up" moments. I'll be okay if I have some kind of covering, but I might not want to risk it after spending all that money. Just hoping I chose a good Doctor and that the procedure is a success! Ultimately that matters more than a few stares in an airport.
  14. Hi all, Well.. I finally took the plunge and booked myself an FUE procedure with Dr. Hasson in Vancouver. Here's hoping I made a good choice! My question is, if you've had any type of HT (and had to fly to get to the city you had the procedure done in), what was your experience like flying back home? It's easy to say "who cares what someone else thinks", but.. I do care hahaha. So how did you manage the stares? Or were you able to wear some kind of loose fitting hat? I'm not exactly sure what you can and can't wear. However, certainly going through airport security the hat would come off and the bloody scab-filled head would be on full display. Do you get weird looks? Do people not care? What was your experience? Thanks!!
  15. How painful were the anesthetic injections with Dr. Hasson??
  16. Hey guys, I’ve been looking into HTs for a couple years now, and as badly as I want to get one.. I can’t seem to overcome my fear of the pain you feel while getting the anesthetic injections. While I know it only lasts a couple of minutes, almost every single review points out this pain, which is really hampering my ability to build up enough courage to take the plunge. I have a very low pain tolerance, and don’t want to be embarrassed by wincing in pain, or worse.. asking them to stop. If you’ve have a HT, can you please go into detail about what this process felt like for you. What is a comparable level of pain? I cannot seem to overcome this fear. Thanks all
