    @duchaine it’s thin hair (sorry).
@Abi28 you are quite right Dr. Kaan might have been looking out for my friend Goncalo because he believed the results would not have been great.
Dr. Kaan did use a 0.9mm punch but @Dr. Bruno Ferreira said it looked bigger than 0.9mm and that he usually uses slightly smaller punches (0.8mm-0.85mm). Not sure if this is relevant though because what matters are the results and Dr. Kaan is achieving pretty awesome results.
I support Abi28 claim that a Doctor can reject a patient if he believes he will get a bad result and also Duchaine claim that maybe we should do a thricogram before doing a HT to be sure we are a decent candidate.

Let’s see what happens 1 year after my friend surgery with Dr. Bruno and I’m hoping he gets a good result.

How was your friends result bro?

  2. You did everything right. Best research and approach ever.

Wishing you a wonderful result. I am super interested in some of the drs you consulted with and what their approach would have even? Did all of them accept you as a patient? Did someone of them stand out in their approach (using strip, multiple surgeries, using beard hair)?

  3. Looks great, very inspiring seeing these results considering where you came from.

If I were you and given that you are still young and have a nice look you can easily live with, I personally would hold any remaining grafts off for a rainy day. Hair transplants thin, you had fue so these hair aren't all from the safest zone and you never know what might happen in 10-20 years.

  4. I really think all 3 are top 10 world wide.

Feriduni has an amazing aesthetic taste, he is metulicious af and a very heartwarming guy. Really like his hairlines. He does large fue cases and no fut anymore except corrections. He thinks there is no need.

Hattingen is amazing with big sessions, and they are known for this, do fut for large sessions, do more fut than the other two.

Hasson and Wong are the docs who literally shifted the needle of "whats possible". Transitioned more to fue last years but still do fut occasionally.

Oh so you think Pittella is getting hair from out of safe zone? Pittella cases are some of the best in the world the only thing is on lower Norwood cases will those patients still have grafts available? I’ve seen Norwood 4s use 6200 grafts. If they go Norwood 5-6 will they even have another 1000 to get? Maybe he is like Zarev and they just understand how to get the most out of the scalp

Safe zone is complicated I guess.. a nw 2 who will stay nw 2 can take hairs very high in the donor etc.. yes I totally agree. He gets very high numbers and would like to know how..

Interesting. The thing that sucks is they seem very good I’m fut but not big in fue. And fut is so dependent on scarring ability and long hair. Do you think they get the most out of grafts like a Zarev? More grafts than normal type ordeal.

Eugenix is great too, obviously great with beards. Good with temples and natural hairlines. Sometimes I think they go a bit overboard with their high norwood transformation attempts in very desperate cases. I think sometimes it is better to say no.

Pitellas IG results are absolutely amazing. No doubt he is a great surgeon. I just dont get how he gets these super high fue numbers in one surgery (6000+) and no one seems to question how. Would be interesting to know how he sees the 'safe zone'.

I think they are good at fue too. I think the approach they have is sort of that small procedures can go fue but large they do fut - unless patient is amazing fue candidate cause of very dense donor, thick hair etc. But their cutoff point is more or less 4000 grafts - from what I have seen.

Hasson is known for dense packing and I’ve been impressed at the densities he does in a single pass, although he gets criticised for the graft usage I believe the results speak for themselves.

I also notice that Couto gets higher density frontal thirds by having higher triple graft counts than other surgeons, might be a product of where he operates (Spain) or it might be something he himself actively looks for.

Freitas has impressed me when it comes to two surgeries, one to rebuild and the other to touch up for further density.

Who impresses you for high nw blonde white Guy?

In looking back on Nordster34’s pre pics it looks like he had some natural temples already. The only reason I can think of for building out his temples is because his hairline wasn’t dropped down far enough. If the hairline had been designed lower I think it would have lined up with his pre-existing temple area.

My pre pics are very similar to Nordster34. Hasson lowered my hairline quite a bit more that Nordster34’s and he was able to blend it in with my temples quite naturally.

Nordster did you request a higher hairline than what Hasson recommended?

Does anyone know the criteria a surgeon uses to recommend temple work?

Just general: Isn't it the opposite relation? Pretty sure the lower the hairline the more temple work needed as an industry rule of thumb.
