  1. I'm very sorry to see such poor results... you can always check and ask on Armani's own forums. You can do a Google search to find them.
  2. Hey, 31PRASAD... shut up. Seriously. Thanks. Anyways, I'll be switching from Propecia to Proscar (as soon as I start taking Propecia again in a week)... it'd be nice if Proscar actually didn't give sides.
  3. Heh, you've got the Pierce Brosnan thing going on Looks good!
  4. I'm not sure... there's one person claiming so, and nothing else... he used it for his mother's migraines after chemotherapy. I certainly wouldn't pay anything to get that done =P
  5. The whole "it might do something" is too shady for me to spend 1k+ yearly... I was really considering this and almost booked that appointment after speaking with one of Dr. Greco's consultants. After reading some patients having this over a few months ago aren't getting any benefits and are still losing hair, the big P seems to be the thing I'll end up having to use... despite how painful it is.
  6. J-Bo, you almost have me convinced to try Propecia again, but I have to ask, how was the shedding phase for you?
  7. It might be a delayed reaction from the Propecia... If you're at the 8 month mark I'd think you'd have seen shedding before from Propecia, no? If not, it's probably from that.
  8. What dose of Propecia (Proscar) are you on now? Full Propecia pill (1/4 Proscar) still, daily?
  9. RayRay, I'll be getting the same thing done with Dr. Greco in two months. I want to be sure I won't be wasting a grand... but I was told since I'm young (21) and it takes five years for hair follicles to actually die completely, there's a chance of bringing some back, or at least thickening what's already there. If you don't mind my asking, how old are you, RayRay? Knowing would help a lot.
  10. Yes, there are tons of companies trying to cure it, but it seems only a few are on the right track. And how does Histogen differ from Follica and Aderans? They look to be pretty much the same thing upon reading some articles. Either way, I hope their trials are going well... they can already grow some hair on bare scalp, it's just a matter of time before they can make some adjustments, fix some small problems, have successful trials and make this available. Fingers, legs and eyes crossed!
  11. Absolutely. I think he only does it with Protein Matrix. It seems like PRP should work for people that don't really have MPB, but other... follicular diseases. Not sure if that's the case; I've read some conflicting articles.
  12. I'm officially getting PRP done in Florida before late October. Will provide images. Good God I'm nervous about it, but hopefully it'll be worth it!
  13. Less than 15 for baldness, if these guys really are on the right track... in 15 years, something should be out, and already known to the masses... Again, that's if these guys really are on the right pathway.
  14. To be fair, real breakthroughs with stem-cells for curing things like Parkinson's only appeared a few years ago, though people have apparently been saying "There's a cure for this and that right around the corner." for years... I think someone here said they heard that there was a cure for baldness coming soon in the 70's? Unless they were talking about Rogaine, they were way off... This hair cloning/new follicle formation science is the first we're actually seeing of "progress" for a cure, and there are actually a few pictures demonstrating early results... which is plenty of tiny hairs from a bald/near bald scalp. Saying it'll be out in a few years - and having that be true, would pretty much be a blessing for most people in the world, but realistically, I think they're on the right track with this, and we can see something within a decade or two... Also, sorry for the long post =P
  15. I really hope you're right. I think something is definitely on the way, but that's all we really know.
  16. Oh wow... I could gladly part with 10k for a full head of hair... I know someone who's spent 20k on a bad HT. Please, let this get passed soon!
  17. Anyone else think, even if the technology breaks through and something that regrows new hair comes along, it will be ridiculously expensive and only a select few will be able to get it done? =P At any rate, I'm very excited to see the progression of Histogen... this is pretty cool news.
  18. Good to know! I'm just waiting for Dr. Feller's response to my consultation/PRP qualification email. Thanks, Spex!
  19. Absolutely... there are some bold claims that are giving some of us hope, but the harsh reality is, this isn't a magic cure, for early hair loss sufferers... as far as we can see so far. The science behind it does make sense, but you're right, without some real results (many pictures, videos), it can't be called a treatment. I really hope a majority of the people who are getting this procedure done will document their progress, if any progress at all. My two septims. Here's hoping!
  20. Err, so this is the result we can expect after one treatment/one year? With a HT of course... Seems quite extreme. How did I miss this site before =P Oh well. Still willing to try this whenever possible.
  21. Very natural feminine hairline. I'm impessed! How did you thicken up the rest of this patient's hair? Was a lot of the rest dense packed? Or was this patient on any other types of treatment?
